NLT Parallel NASB [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
New Living TranslationNew American Standard Bible 1995
Then Moses went up to Mount Nebo from the plains of Moab and climbed Pisgah Peak, which is across from Jericho. And the LORD showed him the whole land, from Gilead as far as Dan;1Now Moses went up from the plains of Moab to Mount Nebo, to the top of Pisgah, which is opposite Jericho. And the LORD showed him all the land, Gilead as far as Dan,
all the land of Naphtali; the land of Ephraim and Manasseh; all the land of Judah, extending to the Mediterranean Sea ;2and all Naphtali and the land of Ephraim and Manasseh, and all the land of Judah as far as the western sea,
the Negev; the Jordan Valley with Jericho—the city of palms—as far as Zoar.3and the Negev and the plain in the valley of Jericho, the city of palm trees, as far as Zoar.
Then the LORD said to Moses, “This is the land I promised on oath to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob when I said, ‘I will give it to your descendants.’ I have now allowed you to see it with your own eyes, but you will not enter the land.”4Then the LORD said to him, "This is the land which I swore to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, saying, 'I will give it to your descendants'; I have let you see it with your eyes, but you shall not go over there."
So Moses, the servant of the LORD, died there in the land of Moab, just as the LORD had said.5So Moses the servant of the LORD died there in the land of Moab, according to the word of the LORD.
The LORD buried him in a valley near Beth-peor in Moab, but to this day no one knows the exact place.6And He buried him in the valley in the land of Moab, opposite Beth-peor; but no man knows his burial place to this day.
Moses was 120 years old when he died, yet his eyesight was clear, and he was as strong as ever.7Although Moses was one hundred and twenty years old when he died, his eye was not dim, nor his vigor abated.
The people of Israel mourned for Moses on the plains of Moab for thirty days, until the customary period of mourning was over.8So the sons of Israel wept for Moses in the plains of Moab thirty days; then the days of weeping and mourning for Moses came to an end.
Now Joshua son of Nun was full of the spirit of wisdom, for Moses had laid his hands on him. So the people of Israel obeyed him, doing just as the LORD had commanded Moses.9Now Joshua the son of Nun was filled with the spirit of wisdom, for Moses had laid his hands on him; and the sons of Israel listened to him and did as the LORD had commanded Moses.
There has never been another prophet in Israel like Moses, whom the LORD knew face to face.10Since that time no prophet has risen in Israel like Moses, whom the LORD knew face to face,
The LORD sent him to perform all the miraculous signs and wonders in the land of Egypt against Pharaoh, and all his servants, and his entire land.11for all the signs and wonders which the LORD sent him to perform in the land of Egypt against Pharaoh, all his servants, and all his land,
With mighty power, Moses performed terrifying acts in the sight of all Israel.12and for all the mighty power and for all the great terror which Moses performed in the sight of all Israel.
