Praise ye the LORD. O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever. Praise the LORD! Oh give thanks to the LORD, for He is good; For His mercy is everlasting. Praise the LORD. Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good; his love endures forever.
Who can describe the mighty acts of the LORD or fully proclaim His praise? Who can utter the mighty deeds of the LORD, or declare all his praise? Who can utter the mighty acts of the LORD? who can shew forth all his praise? Who can speak of the mighty deeds of the LORD, Or can proclaim all His praise? Who can proclaim the mighty acts of the LORD or fully declare his praise?
Blessed are those who uphold justice, who practice righteousness at all times. Blessed are they who observe justice, who do righteousness at all times! Visit me with Your salvation, Remember me, LORD, when you show favor to your people, come to my aid when you save them,
that I may see the prosperity of Your chosen ones, and rejoice in the gladness of Your nation, and give glory with Your inheritance. that I may look upon the prosperity of your chosen ones, that I may rejoice in the gladness of your nation, that I may glory with your inheritance. That I may see the good of thy chosen, that I may rejoice in the gladness of thy nation, that I may glory with thine inheritance. So that I may see the prosperity of Your chosen ones, That I may rejoice in the joy of Your nation, That I may boast with Your inheritance. that I may enjoy the prosperity of your chosen ones, that I may share in the joy of your nation and join your inheritance in giving praise.
We have sinned like our fathers; we have done wrong and acted wickedly. Both we and our fathers have sinned; we have committed iniquity; we have done wickedness. We have sinned with our fathers, we have committed iniquity, we have done wickedly. We have sinned like our fathers, We have gone astray, we have behaved wickedly. We have sinned, even as our ancestors did; we have done wrong and acted wickedly.
Our fathers in Egypt did not grasp Your wonders or remember Your abundant kindness; but they rebelled by the sea, there at the Red Sea. Our fathers, when they were in Egypt, did not consider your wondrous works; they did not remember the abundance of your steadfast love, but rebelled by the sea, at the Red Sea. Our fathers understood not thy wonders in Egypt; they remembered not the multitude of thy mercies; but provoked him at the sea, even at the Red sea. Our fathers in Egypt did not understand Your wonders; They did not remember Your abundant kindnesses, But rebelled by the sea, at the Red Sea. When our ancestors were in Egypt, they gave no thought to your miracles; they did not remember your many kindnesses, and they rebelled by the sea, the Red Sea.
Yet He saved them for the sake of His name, to make His power known. Yet he saved them for his name’s sake, that he might make known his mighty power. Nevertheless he saved them for his name's sake, that he might make his mighty power to be known. Nevertheless He saved them for the sake of His name, So that He might make His power known. Yet he saved them for his name’s sake, to make his mighty power known.
He rebuked the Red Sea, and it dried up; He led them through the depths as through a desert. He rebuked the Red Sea, and it became dry, and he led them through the deep as through a desert. He rebuked the Red sea also, and it was dried up: so he led them through the depths, as through the wilderness. So He rebuked the Red Sea and it dried up, And He led them through the mighty waters, as through the wilderness. He rebuked the Red Sea, and it dried up; he led them through the depths as through a desert.
He saved them from the hand that hated them; He redeemed them from the hand of the enemy. So he saved them from the hand of the foe and redeemed them from the power of the enemy. And he saved them from the hand of him that hated them, and redeemed them from the hand of the enemy. So He saved them from the hand of one who hated them, And redeemed them from the hand of the enemy. He saved them from the hand of the foe; from the hand of the enemy he redeemed them.
The waters covered their foes; not one of them remained. And the waters covered their adversaries; not one of them was left. And the waters covered their enemies: there was not one of them left. The waters covered their adversaries; Not one of them was left. The waters covered their adversaries; not one of them survived.
Then they believed His promises and sang His praise. Then they believed his words; they sang his praise. Then believed they his words; they sang his praise. Then they believed His words; They sang His praise. Then they believed his promises and sang his praise.
Yet they soon forgot His works and failed to wait for His counsel. But they soon forgot his works; they did not wait for his counsel. They soon forgat his works; they waited not for his counsel: They quickly forgot His works; They did not wait for His plan, But they soon forgot what he had done and did not wait for his plan to unfold.
They craved intensely in the wilderness and tested God in the desert. But they had a wanton craving in the wilderness, and put God to the test in the desert; But lusted exceedingly in the wilderness, and tempted God in the desert. But became lustfully greedy in the wilderness, And put God to the test in the desert. In the desert they gave in to their craving; in the wilderness they put God to the test.
So He granted their request, but sent a wasting disease upon them. he gave them what they asked, but sent a wasting disease among them. And he gave them their request; but sent leanness into their soul. So He gave them their request, But sent a wasting disease among them. So he gave them what they asked for, but sent a wasting disease among them.
In the camp they envied Moses, as well as Aaron, the holy one of the LORD. When men in the camp were jealous of Moses and Aaron, the holy one of the LORD, They envied Moses also in the camp, and Aaron the saint of the LORD. When they became envious of Moses in the camp, And of Aaron, the holy one of the LORD, In the camp they grew envious of Moses and of Aaron, who was consecrated to the LORD.
The earth opened up and swallowed Dathan; it covered the assembly of Abiram. the earth opened and swallowed up Dathan, and covered the company of Abiram. The earth opened and swallowed up Dathan, and covered the company of Abiram. The earth opened and swallowed up Dathan, And engulfed the company of Abiram. The earth opened up and swallowed Dathan; it buried the company of Abiram.
Then fire blazed through their company; flames consumed the wicked. Fire also broke out in their company; the flame burned up the wicked. And a fire was kindled in their company; the flame burned up the wicked. And a fire blazed up in their company; The flame consumed the wicked. Fire blazed among their followers; a flame consumed the wicked.
At Horeb they made a calf and worshiped a molten image. They made a calf in Horeb and worshiped a metal image. They made a calf in Horeb, and worshipped the molten image. They made a calf in Horeb, And worshiped a cast metal image. At Horeb they made a calf and worshiped an idol cast from metal.
They exchanged their Glory for the image of a grass-eating ox. They exchanged the glory of God for the image of an ox that eats grass. Thus they changed their glory into the similitude of an ox that eateth grass. So they exchanged their glory For the image of an ox that eats grass. They exchanged their glorious God for an image of a bull, which eats grass.
They forgot God their Savior, who did great things in Egypt, They forgot God, their Savior, who had done great things in Egypt, They forgat God their saviour, which had done great things in Egypt; They forgot God their Savior, Who had done great things in Egypt, They forgot the God who saved them, who had done great things in Egypt,
wondrous works in the land of Ham, and awesome deeds by the Red Sea. wondrous works in the land of Ham, and awesome deeds by the Red Sea. Wondrous works in the land of Ham, and terrible things by the Red sea. Wonders in the land of Ham, And awesome things by the Red Sea. miracles in the land of Ham and awesome deeds by the Red Sea.
So He said He would destroy them— had not Moses His chosen one stood before Him in the breach to divert His wrath from destroying them. Therefore he said he would destroy them— had not Moses, his chosen one, stood in the breach before him, to turn away his wrath from destroying them. Therefore he said that he would destroy them, had not Moses his chosen stood before him in the breach, to turn away his wrath, lest he should destroy them. Therefore He said that He would destroy them, If Moses, His chosen one, had not stood in the gap before Him, To turn away His wrath from destroying them. So he said he would destroy them— had not Moses, his chosen one, stood in the breach before him to keep his wrath from destroying them.
They despised the pleasant land; they did not believe His promise. Then they despised the pleasant land, having no faith in his promise. Yea, they despised the pleasant land, they believed not his word: Then they rejected the pleasant land; They did not believe His word, Then they despised the pleasant land; they did not believe his promise.
They grumbled in their tents and did not listen to the voice of the LORD. They murmured in their tents, and did not obey the voice of the LORD. But murmured in their tents, and hearkened not unto the voice of the LORD. But grumbled in their tents; They did not listen to the voice of the LORD. They grumbled in their tents and did not obey the LORD.
So He raised His hand and swore to cast them down in the wilderness, Therefore he raised his hand and swore to them that he would make them fall in the wilderness, Therefore he lifted up his hand against them, to overthrow them in the wilderness: Therefore He swore to them That He would have them fall in the wilderness, So he swore to them with uplifted hand that he would make them fall in the wilderness,
to disperse their offspring among the nations and scatter them throughout the lands. and would make their offspring fall among the nations, scattering them among the lands. To overthrow their seed also among the nations, and to scatter them in the lands. And that He would bring down their descendants among the nations, And scatter them in the lands. make their descendants fall among the nations and scatter them throughout the lands.
They yoked themselves to Baal of Peor and ate sacrifices offered to lifeless gods. Then they yoked themselves to the Baal of Peor, and ate sacrifices offered to the dead; They joined themselves also unto Baalpeor, and ate the sacrifices of the dead. They also followed Baal-peor, And ate sacrifices offered to the dead. They yoked themselves to the Baal of Peor and ate sacrifices offered to lifeless gods;
So they provoked the LORD to anger with their deeds, and a plague broke out among them. they provoked the LORD to anger with their deeds, and a plague broke out among them. Thus they provoked him to anger with their inventions: and the plague brake in upon them. So they provoked Him to anger with their deeds, And a plague broke out among them. they aroused the LORD’s anger by their wicked deeds, and a plague broke out among them.
But Phinehas stood and intervened, and the plague was restrained. Then Phinehas stood up and intervened, and the plague was stayed. Then stood up Phinehas, and executed judgment: and so the plague was stayed. Then Phinehas stood up and intervened, And so the plague was brought to a halt. But Phinehas stood up and intervened, and the plague was checked.
It was credited to him as righteousness for endless generations to come. And that was counted to him as righteousness from generation to generation forever. And that was counted unto him for righteousness unto all generations for evermore. And it was credited to him as righteousness, To all generations forever. This was credited to him as righteousness for endless generations to come.
At the waters of Meribah they angered the LORD, and trouble came to Moses because of them. They angered him at the waters of Meribah, and it went ill with Moses on their account, They angered him also at the waters of strife, so that it went ill with Moses for their sakes: They also provoked Him to wrath at the waters of Meribah, So that it went badly for Moses on their account. By the waters of Meribah they angered the LORD, and trouble came to Moses because of them;
For they rebelled against His Spirit, and Moses spoke rashly with his lips. for they made his spirit bitter, and he spoke rashly with his lips. Because they provoked his spirit, so that he spake unadvisedly with his lips. Because they were rebellious against His Spirit, He spoke rashly with his lips. for they rebelled against the Spirit of God, and rash words came from Moses’ lips.
They did not destroy the peoples as the LORD had commanded them, They did not destroy the peoples, as the LORD commanded them, They did not destroy the nations, concerning whom the LORD commanded them: They did not destroy the peoples, As the LORD had commanded them, They did not destroy the peoples as the LORD had commanded them,
but they mingled with the nations and adopted their customs. but they mixed with the nations and learned to do as they did. But were mingled among the heathen, and learned their works. But they got involved with the nations And learned their practices, but they mingled with the nations and adopted their customs.
They worshiped their idols, which became a snare to them. They served their idols, which became a snare to them. And they served their idols: which were a snare unto them. And served their idols, Which became a snare to them. They worshiped their idols, which became a snare to them.
They sacrificed their sons and their daughters to demons. They sacrificed their sons and their daughters to the demons; Yea, they sacrificed their sons and their daughters unto devils, They even sacrificed their sons and their daughters to the demons, They sacrificed their sons and their daughters to false gods.
They shed innocent blood— the blood of their sons and daughters, whom they sacrificed to the idols of Canaan, and the land was polluted with blood. they poured out innocent blood, the blood of their sons and daughters, whom they sacrificed to the idols of Canaan, and the land was polluted with blood. And shed innocent blood, even the blood of their sons and of their daughters, whom they sacrificed unto the idols of Canaan: and the land was polluted with blood. And shed innocent blood, The blood of their sons and their daughters Whom they sacrificed to the idols of Canaan; And the land was defiled with the blood. They shed innocent blood, the blood of their sons and daughters, whom they sacrificed to the idols of Canaan, and the land was desecrated by their blood.
They defiled themselves by their actions and prostituted themselves by their deeds. Thus they became unclean by their acts, and played the whore in their deeds. Thus were they defiled with their own works, and went a whoring with their own inventions. So they became unclean in their practices, And were unfaithful in their deeds. They defiled themselves by what they did; by their deeds they prostituted themselves.
So the anger of the LORD burned against His people, and He abhorred His own inheritance. Then the anger of the LORD was kindled against his people, and he abhorred his heritage; Therefore was the wrath of the LORD kindled against his people, insomuch that he abhorred his own inheritance. Therefore the anger of the LORD was kindled against His people, And He loathed His inheritance. Therefore the LORD was angry with his people and abhorred his inheritance.
He delivered them into the hand of the nations, and those who hated them ruled over them. he gave them into the hand of the nations, so that those who hated them ruled over them. And he gave them into the hand of the heathen; and they that hated them ruled over them. So He handed them over to the nations, And those who hated them ruled over them. He gave them into the hands of the nations, and their foes ruled over them.
Their enemies oppressed them, and subdued them under their hand. Their enemies oppressed them, and they were brought into subjection under their power. Their enemies also oppressed them, and they were brought into subjection under their hand. Their enemies also oppressed them, And they were subdued under their power. Their enemies oppressed them and subjected them to their power.
Many times He rescued them, but they were bent on rebellion and sank down in their iniquity. Many times he delivered them, but they were rebellious in their purposes and were brought low through their iniquity. Many times did he deliver them; but they provoked him with their counsel, and were brought low for their iniquity. Many times He would rescue them; They, however, were rebellious in their plan, And they sank down into their guilt. Many times he delivered them, but they were bent on rebellion and they wasted away in their sin.
Nevertheless He heard their cry; He took note of their distress. Nevertheless, he looked upon their distress, when he heard their cry. Nevertheless he regarded their affliction, when he heard their cry: Nevertheless He looked at their distress When He heard their cry; Yet he took note of their distress when he heard their cry;
And He remembered His covenant with them, and relented by the abundance of His loving devotion. For their sake he remembered his covenant, and relented according to the abundance of his steadfast love. And he remembered for them his covenant, and repented according to the multitude of his mercies. And He remembered His covenant for their sake, And relented according to the greatness of His mercy. for their sake he remembered his covenant and out of his great love he relented.
He made them objects of compassion to all who held them captive. He caused them to be pitied by all those who held them captive. He made them also to be pitied of all those that carried them captives. He also made them objects of compassion In the presence of all their captors. He caused all who held them captive to show them mercy.
Save us, O LORD our God, and gather us from the nations, that we may give thanks to Your holy name, that we may glory in Your praise. Save us, O LORD our God, and gather us from among the nations, that we may give thanks to your holy name and glory in your praise. Save us, O LORD our God, and gather us from among the heathen, to give thanks unto thy holy name, and to triumph in thy praise. Save us, LORD our God, And gather us from the nations, To give thanks to Your holy name And glory in Your praise. Save us, LORD our God, and gather us from the nations, that we may give thanks to your holy name and glory in your praise.
Blessed be the LORD, the God of Israel, from everlasting to everlasting. Let all the people say, “Amen!” Hallelujah! Blessed be the LORD, the God of Israel, from everlasting to everlasting! And let all the people say, “Amen!” Praise the LORD! Blessed be the LORD God of Israel from everlasting to everlasting: and let all the people say, Amen. Praise ye the LORD. Blessed be the LORD, the God of Israel, From everlasting to everlasting. And all the people shall say, “Amen.” Praise the LORD! Praise be to the LORD, the God of Israel, from everlasting to everlasting. Let all the people say, “Amen!” Praise the LORD.
