| 1Now these are the generations of the sons of Noah, Shem, Ham, and Japheth: and unto them were sons born after the flood. | 1This is the account of Noah's sons Shem, Ham, and Japheth. Sons were born to them after the flood. |

| 15And Canaan begat Sidon his firstborn, and Heth, | 15Canaan was the father of Sidon his firstborn, Heth, |

| 19And the border of the Canaanites was from Sidon, as thou comest to Gerar, unto Gaza; as thou goest, unto Sodom, and Gomorrah, and Admah, and Zeboim, even unto Lasha. | 19and the borders of Canaan extended from Sidon all the way to Gerar as far as Gaza, and all the way to Sodom, Gomorrah, Admah, and Zeboiim, as far as Lasha. |
