1Then Moses assembled the entire congregation of the Israelites and said to them, “These are the things that the LORD has commanded you to do: 1וַיַּקְהֵ֣ל מֹשֶׁ֗ה אֶֽת־ כָּל־ עֲדַ֛ת בְּנֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל וַיֹּ֣אמֶר אֲלֵהֶ֑ם אֵ֚לֶּה הַדְּבָרִ֔ים אֲשֶׁר־ צִוָּ֥ה יְהוָ֖ה לַעֲשֹׂ֥ת אֹתָֽם׃
2For six days work shall be done, but on the seventh day you are to have a holy Sabbath of complete rest to the LORD. Anyone who does work on [that day] must be put to death. 2שֵׁ֣שֶׁת יָמִים֮ תֵּעָשֶׂ֣ה מְלָאכָה֒ וּבַיּ֣וֹם הַשְּׁבִיעִ֗י יִהְיֶ֨ה לָכֶ֥ם קֹ֛דֶשׁ שַׁבַּ֥ת שַׁבָּת֖וֹן לַיהוָ֑ה כָּל־ הָעֹשֶׂ֥ה ב֛וֹ מְלָאכָ֖ה יוּמָֽת׃
3Do not light a fire in any of your dwellings on the Sabbath day.” 3לֹא־ תְבַעֲר֣וּ אֵ֔שׁ בְּכֹ֖ל מֹשְׁבֹֽתֵיכֶ֑ם בְּי֖וֹם הַשַּׁבָּֽת׃ פ
4Moses also told the entire congregation of the Israelites, “This is what the LORD has commanded: 4וַיֹּ֣אמֶר מֹשֶׁ֔ה אֶל־ כָּל־ עֲדַ֥ת בְּנֵֽי־ יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל לֵאמֹ֑ר זֶ֣ה הַדָּבָ֔ר אֲשֶׁר־ צִוָּ֥ה יְהוָ֖ה לֵאמֹֽר׃
5Take from among you an offering to the LORD. Let everyone whose heart is willing bring to the LORD an offering of gold and silver and bronze, 5קְח֨וּ מֵֽאִתְּכֶ֤ם תְּרוּמָה֙ לַֽיהוָ֔ה כֹּ֚ל נְדִ֣יב לִבּ֔וֹ יְבִיאֶ֕הָ אֵ֖ת תְּרוּמַ֣ת יְהוָ֑ה זָהָ֥ב וָכֶ֖סֶף וּנְחֹֽשֶׁת׃
6of blue and purple and scarlet yarn, of fine linen and goat hair, 6וּתְכֵ֧לֶת וְאַרְגָּמָ֛ן וְתוֹלַ֥עַת שָׁנִ֖י וְשֵׁ֥שׁ וְעִזִּֽים׃
7of ram skins dyed red, fine leather, and acacia wood, 7וְעֹרֹ֨ת אֵילִ֧ם מְאָדָּמִ֛ים וְעֹרֹ֥ת תְּחָשִׁ֖ים וַעֲצֵ֥י שִׂטִּֽים׃‪‬
8of olive oil for the light and spices for the anointing oil and for the fragrant incense, 8וְשֶׁ֖מֶן לַמָּא֑וֹר וּבְשָׂמִים֙ לְשֶׁ֣מֶן הַמִּשְׁחָ֔ה וְלִקְטֹ֖רֶת הַסַּמִּֽים׃
9and of onyx stones and gemstones to be mounted on the ephod and breastpiece. 9וְאַ֨בְנֵי־ שֹׁ֔הַם וְאַבְנֵ֖י מִלֻּאִ֑ים לָאֵפ֖וֹד וְלַחֹֽשֶׁן׃
10Let every skilled craftsman among you come and make everything that the LORD has commanded: 10וְכָל־ חֲכַם־ לֵ֖ב בָּכֶ֑ם יָבֹ֣אוּ וְיַעֲשׂ֔וּ אֵ֛ת כָּל־ אֲשֶׁ֥ר צִוָּ֖ה יְהוָֽה׃
11the tabernacle with its tent and covering, its clasps and frames, its crossbars, posts, and bases; 11אֶת־ הַ֨מִּשְׁכָּ֔ן אֶֽת־ אָהֳל֖וֹ וְאֶת־ מִכְסֵ֑הוּ אֶת־ קְרָסָיו֙ וְאֶת־ קְרָשָׁ֔יו אֶת־ בְּרִיחָ֕ו‪‬ אֶת־ עַמֻּדָ֖יו וְאֶת־ אֲדָנָֽיו׃
12the ark with its poles and mercy seat, and the veil to shield it; 12אֶת־ הָאָרֹ֥ן וְאֶת־ בַּדָּ֖יו אֶת־ הַכַּפֹּ֑רֶת וְאֵ֖ת פָּרֹ֥כֶת הַמָּסָֽךְ׃
13the table with its poles, all its utensils, and the Bread of the Presence; 13אֶת־ הַשֻּׁלְחָ֥ן וְאֶת־ בַּדָּ֖יו וְאֶת־ כָּל־ כֵּלָ֑יו וְאֵ֖ת לֶ֥חֶם הַפָּנִֽים׃
14the lampstand for light with its accessories and lamps and oil for the light; 14וְאֶת־ מְנֹרַ֧ת הַמָּא֛וֹר וְאֶת־ כֵּלֶ֖יהָ וְאֶת־ נֵרֹתֶ֑יהָ וְאֵ֖ת שֶׁ֥מֶן הַמָּאֽוֹר׃
15the altar of incense with its poles; the anointing oil and fragrant incense; the curtain for the doorway at the entrance to the tabernacle; 15וְאֶת־ מִזְבַּ֤ח הַקְּטֹ֙רֶת֙ וְאֶת־ בַּדָּ֔יו וְאֵת֙ שֶׁ֣מֶן הַמִּשְׁחָ֔ה וְאֵ֖ת קְטֹ֣רֶת הַסַּמִּ֑ים וְאֶת־ מָסַ֥ךְ הַפֶּ֖תַח לְפֶ֥תַח הַמִּשְׁכָּֽן׃
16the altar of burnt offering with its bronze grate, its poles, and all its utensils; the basin with its stand; 16אֵ֣ת ׀ מִזְבַּ֣ח הָעֹלָ֗ה וְאֶת־ מִכְבַּ֤ר הַנְּחֹ֙שֶׁת֙ אֲשֶׁר־ ל֔וֹ אֶת־ בַּדָּ֖יו וְאֶת־ כָּל־ כֵּלָ֑יו אֶת־ הַכִּיֹּ֖ר וְאֶת־ כַּנּֽוֹ׃
17the curtains of the courtyard with its posts and bases, and the curtain for the gate of the courtyard; 17אֵ֚ת קַלְעֵ֣י הֶחָצֵ֔ר אֶת־ עַמֻּדָ֖יו וְאֶת־ אֲדָנֶ֑יהָ וְאֵ֕ת מָסַ֖ךְ שַׁ֥עַר הֶחָצֵֽר׃
18the tent pegs for the tabernacle [and] for the courtyard, along with their ropes; 18אֶת־ יִתְדֹ֧ת הַמִּשְׁכָּ֛ן וְאֶת־ יִתְדֹ֥ת הֶחָצֵ֖ר וְאֶת־ מֵיתְרֵיהֶֽם׃
19and the woven garments for ministering in the holy [place]— both the sacred garments for Aaron the priest and the garments for his sons to serve as priests.” 19אֶת־ בִּגְדֵ֥י הַשְּׂרָ֖ד לְשָׁרֵ֣ת בַּקֹּ֑דֶשׁ אֶת־ בִּגְדֵ֤י הַקֹּ֙דֶשׁ֙ לְאַהֲרֹ֣ן הַכֹּהֵ֔ן וְאֶת־ בִּגְדֵ֥י בָנָ֖יו לְכַהֵֽן׃
20Then the entire congregation of the Israelites withdrew from the presence of Moses. 20וַיֵּֽצְא֛וּ כָּל־ עֲדַ֥ת בְּנֵֽי־ יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל מִלִּפְנֵ֥י מֹשֶֽׁה׃
21And everyone whose heart stirred him and whose spirit prompted him came and brought an offering to the LORD for the work on the Tent of Meeting, for all its services, and for the sacred garments. 21וַיָּבֹ֕אוּ כָּל־ אִ֖ישׁ אֲשֶׁר־ נְשָׂא֣וֹ לִבּ֑וֹ וְכֹ֡ל אֲשֶׁר֩ נָדְבָ֨ה רוּח֜וֹ אֹת֗וֹ הֵ֠בִיאוּ אֶת־ תְּרוּמַ֨ת יְהוָ֜ה לִמְלֶ֨אכֶת אֹ֤הֶל מוֹעֵד֙ וּלְכָל־ עֲבֹ֣דָת֔וֹ וּלְבִגְדֵ֖י הַקֹּֽדֶשׁ׃
22So all who had willing hearts, both men and women, came [and] brought brooches and earrings, rings and necklaces, and all kinds of gold jewelry. And they all presented their gold as a wave offering to the LORD. 22וַיָּבֹ֥אוּ הָאֲנָשִׁ֖ים עַל־ הַנָּשִׁ֑ים כֹּ֣ל ׀ נְדִ֣יב לֵ֗ב הֵ֠בִיאוּ חָ֣ח וָנֶ֜זֶם וְטַבַּ֤עַת וְכוּמָז֙ כָּל־ כְּלִ֣י זָהָ֔ב וְכָל־ אִ֕ישׁ אֲשֶׁ֥ר הֵנִ֛יף תְּנוּפַ֥ת זָהָ֖ב לַיהוָֽה׃
23Everyone who had blue, purple, or scarlet yarn, or fine linen, goat hair, ram skins dyed red, or articles of fine leather brought them. 23וְכָל־ אִ֞ישׁ אֲשֶׁר־ נִמְצָ֣א אִתּ֗וֹ תְּכֵ֧לֶת וְאַרְגָּמָ֛ן וְתוֹלַ֥עַת שָׁנִ֖י וְשֵׁ֣שׁ וְעִזִּ֑ים וְעֹרֹ֨ת אֵילִ֧ם מְאָדָּמִ֛ים וְעֹרֹ֥ת תְּחָשִׁ֖ים הֵבִֽיאוּ׃
24And all who could present an offering of silver or bronze brought it as a contribution to the LORD. Also, everyone who had acacia wood for any part of the service brought it. 24כָּל־ מֵרִ֗ים תְּר֤וּמַת כֶּ֙סֶף֙ וּנְחֹ֔שֶׁת הֵבִ֕יאוּ אֵ֖ת תְּרוּמַ֣ת יְהוָ֑ה וְכֹ֡ל אֲשֶׁר֩ נִמְצָ֨א אִתּ֜וֹ עֲצֵ֥י שִׁטִּ֛ים לְכָל־ מְלֶ֥אכֶת הָעֲבֹדָ֖ה הֵבִֽיאוּ׃
25Every skilled woman spun with her hands and brought what she had spun: blue, purple, or scarlet yarn, or fine linen. 25וְכָל־ אִשָּׁ֥ה חַכְמַת־ לֵ֖ב בְּיָדֶ֣יהָ טָו֑וּ וַיָּבִ֣יאוּ מַטְוֶ֗ה אֶֽת־ הַתְּכֵ֙לֶת֙ וְאֶת־ הָֽאַרְגָּמָ֔ן אֶת־ תּוֹלַ֥עַת הַשָּׁנִ֖י וְאֶת־ הַשֵּֽׁשׁ׃
26And all the skilled women whose hearts were stirred spun the goat hair. 26וְכָל־ הַ֨נָּשִׁ֔ים אֲשֶׁ֨ר נָשָׂ֥א לִבָּ֛ן אֹתָ֖נָה בְּחָכְמָ֑ה טָו֖וּ אֶת־ הָעִזִּֽים׃
27The leaders brought onyx stones and gemstones to mount on the ephod and breastpiece, 27וְהַנְּשִׂאִ֣ם הֵבִ֔יאוּ אֵ֚ת אַבְנֵ֣י הַשֹּׁ֔הַם וְאֵ֖ת אַבְנֵ֣י הַמִּלֻּאִ֑ים לָאֵפ֖וֹד וְלַחֹֽשֶׁן׃
28as well as spices and olive oil for the light, for the anointing oil, and for the fragrant incense. 28וְאֶת־ הַבֹּ֖שֶׂם וְאֶת־ הַשָּׁ֑מֶן לְמָא֕וֹר וּלְשֶׁ֙מֶן֙ הַמִּשְׁחָ֔ה וְלִקְטֹ֖רֶת הַסַּמִּֽים׃
29So all the men and women of the Israelites whose hearts prompted them brought a freewill offering to the LORD for all the work that the LORD through Moses had commanded them to do. 29כָּל־ אִ֣ישׁ וְאִשָּׁ֗ה אֲשֶׁ֨ר נָדַ֣ב לִבָּם֮ אֹתָם֒ לְהָבִיא֙ לְכָל־ הַמְּלָאכָ֔ה אֲשֶׁ֨ר צִוָּ֧ה יְהוָ֛ה לַעֲשׂ֖וֹת בְּיַד־ מֹשֶׁ֑ה הֵבִ֧יאוּ בְנֵי־ יִשְׂרָאֵ֛ל נְדָבָ֖ה לַיהוָֽה׃ פ
30Then Moses said to the Israelites, “See, the LORD has called by name Bezalel son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah. 30וַיֹּ֤אמֶר מֹשֶׁה֙ אֶל־ בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל רְא֛וּ קָרָ֥א יְהוָ֖ה בְּשֵׁ֑ם בְּצַלְאֵ֛ל בֶּן־ אוּרִ֥י בֶן־ ח֖וּר לְמַטֵּ֥ה יְהוּדָֽה׃
31And He has filled him with the Spirit of God, with wisdom, understanding, and ability in all kinds of crafts, 31וַיְמַלֵּ֥א אֹת֖וֹ ר֣וּחַ אֱלֹהִ֑ים בְּחָכְמָ֛ה בִּתְבוּנָ֥ה וּבְדַ֖עַת וּבְכָל־ מְלָאכָֽה׃
32to make artistic designs for working in gold and silver and bronze, 32וְלַחְשֹׁ֖ב מַֽחַשָׁבֹ֑ת לַעֲשֹׂ֛ת בַּזָּהָ֥ב וּבַכֶּ֖סֶף וּבַנְּחֹֽשֶׁת׃
33to cut gemstones for mounting, and to carve wood for work in every artistic craft. 33וּבַחֲרֹ֥שֶׁת אֶ֛בֶן לְמַלֹּ֖את וּבַחֲרֹ֣שֶׁת עֵ֑ץ לַעֲשׂ֖וֹת בְּכָל־ מְלֶ֥אכֶת מַחֲשָֽׁבֶת׃
34And [the LORD] has given both him and Oholiab son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan, the ability to teach others. 34וּלְהוֹרֹ֖ת נָתַ֣ן בְּלִבּ֑וֹ ה֕וּא וְאָֽהֳלִיאָ֥ב בֶּן־ אֲחִיסָמָ֖ךְ לְמַטֵּה־ דָֽן׃
35He has filled them with skill to do all kinds of work as engravers, designers, embroiderers in blue, purple, and scarlet yarn and fine linen, and as weavers— as artistic designers of every kind of craft. 35מִלֵּ֨א אֹתָ֜ם חָכְמַת־ לֵ֗ב לַעֲשׂוֹת֮ כָּל־ מְלֶ֣אכֶת חָרָ֣שׁ ׀ וְחֹשֵׁב֒ וְרֹקֵ֞ם בַּתְּכֵ֣לֶת וּבָֽאַרְגָּמָ֗ן בְּתוֹלַ֧עַת הַשָּׁנִ֛י וּבַשֵּׁ֖שׁ וְאֹרֵ֑ג עֹשֵׂי֙ כָּל־ מְלָאכָ֔ה וְחֹשְׁבֵ֖י מַחֲשָׁבֹֽת׃
