Blessed are those who keep his testimonies, who seek him with their whole heart,2Blessed are those who keep His testimonies and seek Him with all their heart.
who also do no wrong, but walk in his ways!3They do no iniquity; they walk in His ways.
You have commanded your precepts to be kept diligently.4You have ordained Your precepts, that we should keep them diligently.
Oh that my ways may be steadfast in keeping your statutes!5Oh, that my ways were committed to keeping Your statutes!
Then I shall not be put to shame, having my eyes fixed on all your commandments.6Then I would not be ashamed when I consider all Your commandments.
I will praise you with an upright heart, when I learn your righteous rules.7I will praise You with an upright heart when I learn Your righteous judgments.
I will keep your statutes; do not utterly forsake me!8I will keep Your statutes; do not utterly forsake me.
How can a young man keep his way pure? By guarding it according to your word.9How can a young man keep his way pure? By guarding it according to Your word.
With my whole heart I seek you; let me not wander from your commandments!10With all my heart I have sought You; do not let me stray from Your commandments.
I have stored up your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you.11I have hidden Your word in my heart that I might not sin against You.
Blessed are you, O LORD; teach me your statutes!12Blessed are You, O LORD; teach me Your statutes.
With my lips I declare all the rules of your mouth.13With my lips I proclaim all the judgments of Your mouth.
In the way of your testimonies I delight as much as in all riches.14I rejoice in the way of Your testimonies as much as in all riches.
I will meditate on your precepts and fix my eyes on your ways.15I will meditate on Your precepts and regard Your ways.
I will delight in your statutes; I will not forget your word.16I will delight in Your statutes; I will not forget Your word.
Deal bountifully with your servant, that I may live and keep your word.17Deal bountifully with Your servant, that I may live and keep Your word.
Open my eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of your law.18Open my eyes that I may see wondrous things from Your law.
I am a sojourner on the earth; hide not your commandments from me!19I am a stranger on the earth; do not hide Your commandments from me.
My soul is consumed with longing for your rules at all times.20My soul is consumed with longing for Your judgments at all times.
You rebuke the insolent, accursed ones, who wander from your commandments.21You rebuke the arrogant—the cursed who stray from Your commandments.
Take away from me scorn and contempt, for I have kept your testimonies.22Remove my scorn and contempt, for I have kept Your testimonies.
Even though princes sit plotting against me, your servant will meditate on your statutes.23Though rulers sit and slander me, Your servant meditates on Your statutes.
Your testimonies are my delight; they are my counselors.24Your testimonies are indeed my delight; they are my counselors.
My soul clings to the dust; give me life according to your word!25My soul cleaves to the dust; revive me according to Your word.
When I told of my ways, you answered me; teach me your statutes!26I recounted my ways, and You answered me; teach me Your statutes.
Make me understand the way of your precepts, and I will meditate on your wondrous works.27Make clear to me the way of Your precepts; then I will meditate on Your wonders.
My soul melts away for sorrow; strengthen me according to your word!28My soul melts with sorrow; strengthen me according to Your word.
Put false ways far from me and graciously teach me your law!29Remove me from the path of deceit and graciously grant me Your law.
I have chosen the way of faithfulness; I set your rules before me.30I have chosen the way of truth; I have set Your ordinances before me.
I cling to your testimonies, O LORD; let me not be put to shame!31I cling to Your testimonies, O LORD; let me not be put to shame.
I will run in the way of your commandments when you enlarge my heart!32I run in the path of Your commandments, for You will enlarge my heart.
Teach me, O LORD, the way of your statutes; and I will keep it to the end.33Teach me, O LORD, the way of Your statutes, and I will keep them to the end.
Give me understanding, that I may keep your law and observe it with my whole heart.34Give me understanding that I may obey Your law, and follow it with all my heart.
Lead me in the path of your commandments, for I delight in it.35Direct me in the path of Your commandments, for there I find delight.
Incline my heart to your testimonies, and not to selfish gain!36Turn my heart to Your testimonies and not to covetous gain.
Turn my eyes from looking at worthless things; and give me life in your ways.37Turn my eyes away from worthless things; revive me with Your word.
Confirm to your servant your promise, that you may be feared.38Establish Your word to Your servant, to produce reverence for You.
Turn away the reproach that I dread, for your rules are good.39Turn away the disgrace I dread, for Your judgments are good.
Behold, I long for your precepts; in your righteousness give me life!40How I long for Your precepts! Revive me in Your righteousness.
Let your steadfast love come to me, O LORD, your salvation according to your promise;41May Your loving devotion come to me, O LORD, Your salvation, according to Your promise.
then shall I have an answer for him who taunts me, for I trust in your word.42Then I can answer him who taunts, for I trust in Your word.
And take not the word of truth utterly out of my mouth, for my hope is in your rules.43Never take Your word of truth from my mouth, for I hope in Your judgments.
I will keep your law continually, forever and ever,44I will always obey Your law, forever and ever.
and I shall walk in a wide place, for I have sought your precepts.45And I will walk in freedom, for I have sought Your precepts.
I will also speak of your testimonies before kings and shall not be put to shame,46I will speak of Your testimonies before kings, and I will not be ashamed.
for I find my delight in your commandments, which I love.47I delight in Your commandments because I love them.
I will lift up my hands toward your commandments, which I love, and I will meditate on your statutes.48I lift up my hands to Your commandments, which I love, and I meditate on Your statutes.
Remember your word to your servant, in which you have made me hope.49Remember Your word to Your servant, upon which You have given me hope.
This is my comfort in my affliction, that your promise gives me life.50This is my comfort in affliction, that Your promise has given me life.
The insolent utterly deride me, but I do not turn away from your law.51The arrogant utterly deride me, but I do not turn from Your law.
When I think of your rules from of old, I take comfort, O LORD.52I remember Your judgments of old, O LORD, and in them I find comfort.
Hot indignation seizes me because of the wicked, who forsake your law.53Rage has taken hold of me because of the wicked who reject Your law.
Your statutes have been my songs in the house of my sojourning.54Your statutes are songs to me in the house of my pilgrimage.
I remember your name in the night, O LORD, and keep your law.55In the night, O LORD, I remember Your name, that I may keep Your law.
This blessing has fallen to me, that I have kept your precepts.56This is my practice, for I obey Your precepts.
The LORD is my portion; I promise to keep your words.57The LORD is my portion; I have promised to keep Your words.
I entreat your favor with all my heart; be gracious to me according to your promise.58I have sought Your face with all my heart; be gracious to me according to Your promise.
When I think on my ways, I turn my feet to your testimonies;59I considered my ways and turned my steps to Your testimonies.
I hasten and do not delay to keep your commandments.60I hurried without hesitating to keep Your commandments.
Though the cords of the wicked ensnare me, I do not forget your law.61Though the ropes of the wicked bind me, I do not forget Your law.
At midnight I rise to praise you, because of your righteous rules.62At midnight I rise to give You thanks for Your righteous judgments.
I am a companion of all who fear you, of those who keep your precepts.63I am a friend to all who fear You, and to those who keep Your precepts.
The earth, O LORD, is full of your steadfast love; teach me your statutes!64The earth is filled with Your loving devotion, O LORD; teach me Your statutes.
You have dealt well with your servant, O LORD, according to your word.65You are good to Your servant, O LORD, according to Your word.
Teach me good judgment and knowledge, for I believe in your commandments.66Teach me good judgment and knowledge, for I believe in Your commandments.
Before I was afflicted I went astray, but now I keep your word.67Before I was afflicted, I went astray; but now I keep Your word.
You are good and do good; teach me your statutes.68You are good, and You do what is good; teach me Your statutes.
The insolent smear me with lies, but with my whole heart I keep your precepts;69Though the arrogant have smeared me with lies, I keep Your precepts with all my heart.
their heart is unfeeling like fat, but I delight in your law.70Their hearts are hard and callous, but I delight in Your law.
It is good for me that I was afflicted, that I might learn your statutes.71It was good for me to be afflicted, that I might learn Your statutes.
The law of your mouth is better to me than thousands of gold and silver pieces.72The law from Your mouth is more precious to me than thousands of pieces of gold and silver.
Your hands have made and fashioned me; give me understanding that I may learn your commandments.73Your hands have made me and fashioned me; give me understanding to learn Your commandments.
Those who fear you shall see me and rejoice, because I have hoped in your word.74May those who fear You see me and rejoice, for I have hoped in Your word.
I know, O LORD, that your rules are righteous, and that in faithfulness you have afflicted me.75I know, O LORD, that Your judgments are righteous, and that in faithfulness You have afflicted me.
Let your steadfast love comfort me according to your promise to your servant.76May Your loving devotion comfort me, I pray, according to Your promise to Your servant.
Let your mercy come to me, that I may live; for your law is my delight.77May Your compassion come to me, that I may live, for Your law is my delight.
Let the insolent be put to shame, because they have wronged me with falsehood; as for me, I will meditate on your precepts.78May the arrogant be put to shame for subverting me with a lie; I will meditate on Your precepts.
Let those who fear you turn to me, that they may know your testimonies.79May those who fear You turn to me, those who know Your testimonies.
May my heart be blameless in your statutes, that I may not be put to shame!80May my heart be blameless in Your statutes, that I may not be put to shame.
My soul longs for your salvation; I hope in your word.81My soul faints for Your salvation; I wait for Your word.
My eyes long for your promise; I ask, “When will you comfort me?”82My eyes fail, looking for Your promise; I ask, “When will You comfort me?”
For I have become like a wineskin in the smoke, yet I have not forgotten your statutes.83Though I am like a wineskin dried up by smoke, I do not forget Your statutes.
How long must your servant endure? When will you judge those who persecute me?84How many days must Your servant wait? When will You execute judgment on my persecutors?
The insolent have dug pitfalls for me; they do not live according to your law.85The arrogant have dug pits for me in violation of Your law.
All your commandments are sure; they persecute me with falsehood; help me!86All Your commandments are faithful; I am persecuted without cause—help me!
They have almost made an end of me on earth, but I have not forsaken your precepts.87They almost wiped me from the earth, but I have not forsaken Your precepts.
In your steadfast love give me life, that I may keep the testimonies of your mouth.88Revive me according to Your loving devotion, that I may obey the testimony of Your mouth.
Forever, O LORD, your word is firmly fixed in the heavens.89Your word, O LORD, is everlasting; it is firmly fixed in the heavens.
Your faithfulness endures to all generations; you have established the earth, and it stands fast.90Your faithfulness continues through all generations; You established the earth, and it endures.
By your appointment they stand this day, for all things are your servants.91Your ordinances stand to this day, for all things are servants to You.
If your law had not been my delight, I would have perished in my affliction.92If Your law had not been my delight, then I would have perished in my affliction.
I will never forget your precepts, for by them you have given me life.93I will never forget Your precepts, for by them You have revived me.
I am yours; save me, for I have sought your precepts.94I am Yours; save me, for I have sought Your precepts.
The wicked lie in wait to destroy me, but I consider your testimonies.95The wicked wait to destroy me, but I will ponder Your testimonies.
I have seen a limit to all perfection, but your commandment is exceedingly broad.96I have seen a limit to all perfection, but Your commandment is without limit.
Oh how I love your law! It is my meditation all the day.97Oh, how I love Your law! All day long it is my meditation.
Your commandment makes me wiser than my enemies, for it is ever with me.98Your commandments make me wiser than my enemies, for they are always with me.

I do not turn aside from your rules, for you have taught me.102I have not departed from Your ordinances, for You Yourself have taught me.
How sweet are your words to my taste, sweeter than honey to my mouth!103How sweet are Your words to my taste—sweeter than honey in my mouth!
Through your precepts I get understanding; therefore I hate every false way.104I gain understanding from Your precepts; therefore I hate every false way.
Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.105Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.
I have sworn an oath and confirmed it, to keep your righteous rules.106I have sworn and confirmed that I will keep Your righteous judgments.
I am severely afflicted; give me life, O LORD, according to your word!107I am severely afflicted, O LORD; revive me through Your word.
Accept my freewill offerings of praise, O LORD, and teach me your rules.108Accept the freewill offerings of my mouth, O LORD, and teach me Your judgments.
I hold my life in my hand continually, but I do not forget your law.109I constantly take my life in my hands, yet I do not forget Your law.
The wicked have laid a snare for me, but I do not stray from your precepts.110The wicked have set a snare for me, but I have not strayed from Your precepts.

I hate the double-minded, but I love your law.113The double-minded I despise, but Your law I love.
You are my hiding place and my shield; I hope in your word.114You are my hiding place and my shield; I put my hope in Your word.
Depart from me, you evildoers, that I may keep the commandments of my God.115Depart from me, you evildoers, that I may obey the commandments of my God.

Hold me up, that I may be safe and have regard for your statutes continually!117Uphold me, and I will be saved, that I may always regard Your statutes.
You spurn all who go astray from your statutes, for their cunning is in vain.118You reject all who stray from Your statutes, for their deceitfulness is in vain.
All the wicked of the earth you discard like dross, therefore I love your testimonies.119All the wicked on earth You discard like dross; therefore I love Your testimonies.
My flesh trembles for fear of you, and I am afraid of your judgments.120My flesh trembles in awe of You; I stand in fear of Your judgments.
