Blessed are those whose ways are blameless, who walk according to the law of the LORD.1Blessed are those whose way is blameless, who walk in the Law of the LORD.
Blessed are those who keep his statutes and seek him with all their heart--2Blessed are those who keep His testimonies and seek Him with all their heart.
they do no wrong but follow his ways.3They do no iniquity; they walk in His ways.
You have laid down precepts that are to be fully obeyed.4You have ordained Your precepts, that we should keep them diligently.
Oh, that my ways were steadfast in obeying your decrees!5Oh, that my ways were committed to keeping Your statutes!
Then I would not be put to shame when I consider all your commands.6Then I would not be ashamed when I consider all Your commandments.
I will praise you with an upright heart as I learn your righteous laws.7I will praise You with an upright heart when I learn Your righteous judgments.
I will obey your decrees; do not utterly forsake me.8I will keep Your statutes; do not utterly forsake me.
How can a young person stay on the path of purity? By living according to your word.9How can a young man keep his way pure? By guarding it according to Your word.
I seek you with all my heart; do not let me stray from your commands.10With all my heart I have sought You; do not let me stray from Your commandments.
I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you.11I have hidden Your word in my heart that I might not sin against You.
Praise be to you, LORD; teach me your decrees.12Blessed are You, O LORD; teach me Your statutes.
With my lips I recount all the laws that come from your mouth.13With my lips I proclaim all the judgments of Your mouth.
I rejoice in following your statutes as one rejoices in great riches.14I rejoice in the way of Your testimonies as much as in all riches.
I meditate on your precepts and consider your ways.15I will meditate on Your precepts and regard Your ways.
I delight in your decrees; I will not neglect your word.16I will delight in Your statutes; I will not forget Your word.
Be good to your servant while I live, that I may obey your word.17Deal bountifully with Your servant, that I may live and keep Your word.
Open my eyes that I may see wonderful things in your law.18Open my eyes that I may see wondrous things from Your law.
I am a stranger on earth; do not hide your commands from me.19I am a stranger on the earth; do not hide Your commandments from me.
My soul is consumed with longing for your laws at all times.20My soul is consumed with longing for Your judgments at all times.
You rebuke the arrogant, who are accursed, those who stray from your commands.21You rebuke the arrogant—the cursed who stray from Your commandments.
Remove from me their scorn and contempt, for I keep your statutes.22Remove my scorn and contempt, for I have kept Your testimonies.
Though rulers sit together and slander me, your servant will meditate on your decrees.23Though rulers sit and slander me, Your servant meditates on Your statutes.
Your statutes are my delight; they are my counselors.24Your testimonies are indeed my delight; they are my counselors.
I am laid low in the dust; preserve my life according to your word.25My soul cleaves to the dust; revive me according to Your word.
I gave an account of my ways and you answered me; teach me your decrees.26I recounted my ways, and You answered me; teach me Your statutes.
Cause me to understand the way of your precepts, that I may meditate on your wonderful deeds.27Make clear to me the way of Your precepts; then I will meditate on Your wonders.
My soul is weary with sorrow; strengthen me according to your word.28My soul melts with sorrow; strengthen me according to Your word.
Keep me from deceitful ways; be gracious to me and teach me your law.29Remove me from the path of deceit and graciously grant me Your law.
I have chosen the way of faithfulness; I have set my heart on your laws.30I have chosen the way of truth; I have set Your ordinances before me.
I hold fast to your statutes, LORD; do not let me be put to shame.31I cling to Your testimonies, O LORD; let me not be put to shame.
I run in the path of your commands, for you have broadened my understanding.32I run in the path of Your commandments, for You will enlarge my heart.
Teach me, LORD, the way of your decrees, that I may follow it to the end.33Teach me, O LORD, the way of Your statutes, and I will keep them to the end.
Give me understanding, so that I may keep your law and obey it with all my heart.34Give me understanding that I may obey Your law, and follow it with all my heart.
Direct me in the path of your commands, for there I find delight.35Direct me in the path of Your commandments, for there I find delight.
Turn my heart toward your statutes and not toward selfish gain.36Turn my heart to Your testimonies and not to covetous gain.
Turn my eyes away from worthless things; preserve my life according to your word.37Turn my eyes away from worthless things; revive me with Your word.
Fulfill your promise to your servant, so that you may be feared.38Establish Your word to Your servant, to produce reverence for You.
Take away the disgrace I dread, for your laws are good.39Turn away the disgrace I dread, for Your judgments are good.
How I long for your precepts! In your righteousness preserve my life.40How I long for Your precepts! Revive me in Your righteousness.
May your unfailing love come to me, LORD, your salvation, according to your promise;41May Your loving devotion come to me, O LORD, Your salvation, according to Your promise.
then I can answer anyone who taunts me, for I trust in your word.42Then I can answer him who taunts, for I trust in Your word.
Never take your word of truth from my mouth, for I have put my hope in your laws.43Never take Your word of truth from my mouth, for I hope in Your judgments.
I will always obey your law, for ever and ever.44I will always obey Your law, forever and ever.
I will walk about in freedom, for I have sought out your precepts.45And I will walk in freedom, for I have sought Your precepts.
I will speak of your statutes before kings and will not be put to shame,46I will speak of Your testimonies before kings, and I will not be ashamed.
for I delight in your commands because I love them.47I delight in Your commandments because I love them.
I reach out for your commands, which I love, that I may meditate on your decrees.48I lift up my hands to Your commandments, which I love, and I meditate on Your statutes.
Remember your word to your servant, for you have given me hope.49Remember Your word to Your servant, upon which You have given me hope.
My comfort in my suffering is this: Your promise preserves my life.50This is my comfort in affliction, that Your promise has given me life.
The arrogant mock me unmercifully, but I do not turn from your law.51The arrogant utterly deride me, but I do not turn from Your law.
I remember, LORD, your ancient laws, and I find comfort in them.52I remember Your judgments of old, O LORD, and in them I find comfort.
Indignation grips me because of the wicked, who have forsaken your law.53Rage has taken hold of me because of the wicked who reject Your law.
Your decrees are the theme of my song wherever I lodge.54Your statutes are songs to me in the house of my pilgrimage.
In the night, LORD, I remember your name, that I may keep your law.55In the night, O LORD, I remember Your name, that I may keep Your law.
This has been my practice: I obey your precepts.56This is my practice, for I obey Your precepts.
You are my portion, LORD; I have promised to obey your words.57The LORD is my portion; I have promised to keep Your words.
I have sought your face with all my heart; be gracious to me according to your promise.58I have sought Your face with all my heart; be gracious to me according to Your promise.
I have considered my ways and have turned my steps to your statutes.59I considered my ways and turned my steps to Your testimonies.
I will hasten and not delay to obey your commands.60I hurried without hesitating to keep Your commandments.
Though the wicked bind me with ropes, I will not forget your law.61Though the ropes of the wicked bind me, I do not forget Your law.
At midnight I rise to give you thanks for your righteous laws.62At midnight I rise to give You thanks for Your righteous judgments.
I am a friend to all who fear you, to all who follow your precepts.63I am a friend to all who fear You, and to those who keep Your precepts.
The earth is filled with your love, LORD; teach me your decrees.64The earth is filled with Your loving devotion, O LORD; teach me Your statutes.
Do good to your servant according to your word, LORD.65You are good to Your servant, O LORD, according to Your word.
Teach me knowledge and good judgment, for I trust your commands.66Teach me good judgment and knowledge, for I believe in Your commandments.
Before I was afflicted I went astray, but now I obey your word.67Before I was afflicted, I went astray; but now I keep Your word.
You are good, and what you do is good; teach me your decrees.68You are good, and You do what is good; teach me Your statutes.
Though the arrogant have smeared me with lies, I keep your precepts with all my heart.69Though the arrogant have smeared me with lies, I keep Your precepts with all my heart.
Their hearts are callous and unfeeling, but I delight in your law.70Their hearts are hard and callous, but I delight in Your law.
It was good for me to be afflicted so that I might learn your decrees.71It was good for me to be afflicted, that I might learn Your statutes.
The law from your mouth is more precious to me than thousands of pieces of silver and gold.72The law from Your mouth is more precious to me than thousands of pieces of gold and silver.
Your hands made me and formed me; give me understanding to learn your commands.73Your hands have made me and fashioned me; give me understanding to learn Your commandments.
May those who fear you rejoice when they see me, for I have put my hope in your word.74May those who fear You see me and rejoice, for I have hoped in Your word.
I know, LORD, that your laws are righteous, and that in faithfulness you have afflicted me.75I know, O LORD, that Your judgments are righteous, and that in faithfulness You have afflicted me.
May your unfailing love be my comfort, according to your promise to your servant.76May Your loving devotion comfort me, I pray, according to Your promise to Your servant.
Let your compassion come to me that I may live, for your law is my delight.77May Your compassion come to me, that I may live, for Your law is my delight.
May the arrogant be put to shame for wronging me without cause; but I will meditate on your precepts.78May the arrogant be put to shame for subverting me with a lie; I will meditate on Your precepts.
May those who fear you turn to me, those who understand your statutes.79May those who fear You turn to me, those who know Your testimonies.
May I wholeheartedly follow your decrees, that I may not be put to shame.80May my heart be blameless in Your statutes, that I may not be put to shame.
My soul faints with longing for your salvation, but I have put my hope in your word.81My soul faints for Your salvation; I wait for Your word.
My eyes fail, looking for your promise; I say, "When will you comfort me?"82My eyes fail, looking for Your promise; I ask, “When will You comfort me?”
Though I am like a wineskin in the smoke, I do not forget your decrees.83Though I am like a wineskin dried up by smoke, I do not forget Your statutes.
How long must your servant wait? When will you punish my persecutors?84How many days must Your servant wait? When will You execute judgment on my persecutors?
The arrogant dig pits to trap me, contrary to your law.85The arrogant have dug pits for me in violation of Your law.
All your commands are trustworthy; help me, for I am being persecuted without cause.86All Your commandments are faithful; I am persecuted without cause—help me!
They almost wiped me from the earth, but I have not forsaken your precepts.87They almost wiped me from the earth, but I have not forsaken Your precepts.
In your unfailing love preserve my life, that I may obey the statutes of your mouth.88Revive me according to Your loving devotion, that I may obey the testimony of Your mouth.
Your word, LORD, is eternal; it stands firm in the heavens.89Your word, O LORD, is everlasting; it is firmly fixed in the heavens.
Your faithfulness continues through all generations; you established the earth, and it endures.90Your faithfulness continues through all generations; You established the earth, and it endures.
Your laws endure to this day, for all things serve you.91Your ordinances stand to this day, for all things are servants to You.
If your law had not been my delight, I would have perished in my affliction.92If Your law had not been my delight, then I would have perished in my affliction.
I will never forget your precepts, for by them you have preserved my life.93I will never forget Your precepts, for by them You have revived me.
Save me, for I am yours; I have sought out your precepts.94I am Yours; save me, for I have sought Your precepts.
The wicked are waiting to destroy me, but I will ponder your statutes.95The wicked wait to destroy me, but I will ponder Your testimonies.
To all perfection I see a limit, but your commands are boundless.96I have seen a limit to all perfection, but Your commandment is without limit.
Oh, how I love your law! I meditate on it all day long.97Oh, how I love Your law! All day long it is my meditation.
Your commands are always with me and make me wiser than my enemies.98Your commandments make me wiser than my enemies, for they are always with me.
I have more insight than all my teachers, for I meditate on your statutes.99I have more insight than all my teachers, for Your testimonies are my meditation.

I have not departed from your laws, for you yourself have taught me.102I have not departed from Your ordinances, for You Yourself have taught me.
How sweet are your words to my taste, sweeter than honey to my mouth!103How sweet are Your words to my taste—sweeter than honey in my mouth!
I gain understanding from your precepts; therefore I hate every wrong path.104I gain understanding from Your precepts; therefore I hate every false way.
Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path.105Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.
I have taken an oath and confirmed it, that I will follow your righteous laws.106I have sworn and confirmed that I will keep Your righteous judgments.
I have suffered much; preserve my life, LORD, according to your word.107I am severely afflicted, O LORD; revive me through Your word.
Accept, LORD, the willing praise of my mouth, and teach me your laws.108Accept the freewill offerings of my mouth, O LORD, and teach me Your judgments.
Though I constantly take my life in my hands, I will not forget your law.109I constantly take my life in my hands, yet I do not forget Your law.
The wicked have set a snare for me, but I have not strayed from your precepts.110The wicked have set a snare for me, but I have not strayed from Your precepts.
Your statutes are my heritage forever; they are the joy of my heart.111Your testimonies are my heritage forever, for they are the joy of my heart.
My heart is set on keeping your decrees to the very end.112I have inclined my heart to perform Your statutes, even to the very end.
I hate double-minded people, but I love your law.113The double-minded I despise, but Your law I love.
You are my refuge and my shield; I have put my hope in your word.114You are my hiding place and my shield; I put my hope in Your word.
Away from me, you evildoers, that I may keep the commands of my God!115Depart from me, you evildoers, that I may obey the commandments of my God.
Sustain me, my God, according to your promise, and I will live; do not let my hopes be dashed.116Sustain me as You promised, that I may live; let me not be ashamed of my hope.
Uphold me, and I will be delivered; I will always have regard for your decrees.117Uphold me, and I will be saved, that I may always regard Your statutes.
You reject all who stray from your decrees, for their delusions come to nothing.118You reject all who stray from Your statutes, for their deceitfulness is in vain.
All the wicked of the earth you discard like dross; therefore I love your statutes.119All the wicked on earth You discard like dross; therefore I love Your testimonies.
My flesh trembles in fear of you; I stand in awe of your laws.120My flesh trembles in awe of You; I stand in fear of Your judgments.
I have done what is righteous and just; do not leave me to my oppressors.121I have done what is just and right; do not leave me to my oppressors.
Ensure your servant's well-being; do not let the arrogant oppress me.122Ensure Your servant’s well-being; do not let the arrogant oppress me.
My eyes fail, looking for your salvation, looking for your righteous promise.123My eyes fail, looking for Your salvation, and for Your righteous promise.
Deal with your servant according to your love and teach me your decrees.124Deal with Your servant according to Your loving devotion, and teach me Your statutes.
I am your servant; give me discernment that I may understand your statutes.125I am Your servant; give me understanding, that I may know Your testimonies.
It is time for you to act, LORD; your law is being broken.126It is time for the LORD to act, for they have broken Your law.
Because I love your commands more than gold, more than pure gold,127Therefore I love Your commandments more than gold, even the purest gold.
and because I consider all your precepts right, I hate every wrong path.128Therefore I admire all Your precepts and hate every false way.
Your statutes are wonderful; therefore I obey them.129Wonderful are Your testimonies; therefore I obey them.

You are righteous, LORD, and your laws are right.137Righteous are You, O LORD, and upright are Your judgments.
The statutes you have laid down are righteous; they are fully trustworthy.138The testimonies You have laid down are righteous and altogether faithful.
My zeal wears me out, for my enemies ignore your words.139My zeal has consumed me because my foes forget Your words.
Your promises have been thoroughly tested, and your servant loves them.140Your promise is completely pure; therefore Your servant loves it.
Though I am lowly and despised, I do not forget your precepts.141I am lowly and despised, but I do not forget Your precepts.

Those who devise wicked schemes are near, but they are far from your law.150Those who follow after wickedness draw near; they are far from Your law.
Yet you are near, LORD, and all your commands are true.151You are near, O LORD, and all Your commandments are true.
Long ago I learned from your statutes that you established them to last forever.152Long ago I learned from Your testimonies that You have established them forever.
