The Daily Offerings
(Exodus 29:38–44)

1  וַיְדַבֵּ֥ר (And spoke) יְהוָ֖ה (YHWH) אֶל־ (to) מֹשֶׁ֥ה (Moses), לֵּאמֹֽר׃ (saying), 2  צַ֚ו (Command) אֶת־ (-) בְּנֵ֣י (the sons) יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל (of Israel) וְאָמַרְתָּ֖ (and say) אֲלֵהֶ֑ם (to them) אֶת־ (-): קָרְבָּנִ֨י (My offering), לַחְמִ֜י (My food) לְאִשַּׁ֗י (for My fire offerings), רֵ֚יחַ (an aroma) נִֽיחֹחִ֔י (pleasing to Me), תִּשְׁמְר֕וּ (you⁺ shall be careful) לְהַקְרִ֥יב (to offer) לִ֖י (to Me) בְּמוֹעֲדֽוֹ׃ (at their appointed time).

3  וְאָמַרְתָּ֣ (And you shall say) לָהֶ֔ם (to them): זֶ֚ה (This is) הָֽאִשֶּׁ֔ה (the fire offering) אֲשֶׁ֥ר (that) תַּקְרִ֖יבוּ (you⁺ shall offer) לַיהוָ֑ה (to YHWH): כְּבָשִׂ֨ים (Male lambs), בְּנֵֽי־ (sons) שָׁנָ֧ה (of a year) תְמִימִ֛ם (unblemished), שְׁנַ֥יִם (two) לַיּ֖וֹם (day by day), עֹלָ֥ה (as a burnt offering) תָמִֽיד׃ (regular). 4  אֶת־ (-) הַכֶּ֥בֶשׂ (the lamb) אֶחָ֖ד (one) תַּעֲשֶׂ֣ה (you shall offer) בַבֹּ֑קֶר (in the morning), וְאֵת֙ (and) הַכֶּ֣בֶשׂ (the lamb) הַשֵּׁנִ֔י (second) תַּעֲשֶׂ֖ה (you shall offer) בֵּ֥ין (in) הָֽעַרְבָּֽיִם׃ (the evening), 5  וַעֲשִׂירִ֧ית (and a tenth) הָאֵיפָ֛ה (of an ephah) סֹ֖לֶת (of fine flour) לְמִנְחָ֑ה (as a grain offering), בְּלוּלָ֛ה (mixed) בְּשֶׁ֥מֶן (with oil) כָּתִ֖ית (pressed), רְבִיעִ֥ת (a fourth) הַהִֽין׃ (of a hin).

6  עֹלַ֖ת (It is a burnt offering) תָּמִ֑יד (regular), הָעֲשֻׂיָה֙ (which was made) בְּהַ֣ר (at Mount) סִינַ֔י (Sinai) לְרֵ֣יחַ (for an aroma) נִיחֹ֔חַ (pleasing), אִשֶּׁ֖ה (a fire offering) לַֽיהוָֽה׃ (to YHWH). 7  וְנִסְכּוֹ֙ (And its drink offering is) רְבִיעִ֣ת (a fourth) הַהִ֔ין (of a hin) לַכֶּ֖בֶשׂ (for lamb) הָאֶחָ֑ד (one). בַּקֹּ֗דֶשׁ (In the Holy Place) הַסֵּ֛ךְ (to be poured out) נֶ֥סֶךְ (as a drink offering) שֵׁכָ֖ר (of strong drink) לַיהוָֽה׃ (to YHWH). 8  וְאֵת֙ (And) הַכֶּ֣בֶשׂ (the lamb) הַשֵּׁנִ֔י (second) תַּעֲשֶׂ֖ה (you shall offer) בֵּ֣ין (in) הָֽעַרְבָּ֑יִם (the evening), כְּמִנְחַ֨ת (as the grain offering) הַבֹּ֤קֶר (in the morning), וּכְנִסְכּוֹ֙ (and its drink offering). תַּעֲשֶׂ֔ה (You shall offer) אִשֵּׁ֛ה (as a fire offering), רֵ֥יחַ (an aroma) נִיחֹ֖חַ (pleasing) לַיהוָֽה׃פ (to YHWH).

The Sabbath Offerings

9  וּבְיוֹם֙ (And on day) הַשַּׁבָּ֔ת (the Sabbath) שְׁנֵֽי־ (two) כְבָשִׂ֥ים (lambs), בְּנֵֽי־ (sons) שָׁנָ֖ה (of a year) תְּמִימִ֑ם (unblemished), וּשְׁנֵ֣י (and two) עֶשְׂרֹנִ֗ים (tenths of an ephah) סֹ֧לֶת (of fine flour) מִנְחָ֛ה (as a grain offering), בְּלוּלָ֥ה (mixed) בַשֶּׁ֖מֶן (with the oil), וְנִסְכּֽוֹ׃ (and its drink offering)—

10  עֹלַ֥ת (this is the burnt offering) שַׁבַּ֖ת (for every) בְּשַׁבַּתּ֑וֹ (Sabbath), עַל־ (besides) עֹלַ֥ת (burnt offering) הַתָּמִ֖יד (the regular) וְנִסְכָּֽהּ׃ס (and its drink offering).

The Monthly Offerings

11  וּבְרָאשֵׁי֙ (And at the beginnings) חָדְשֵׁיכֶ֔ם (of your⁺ months) תַּקְרִ֥יבוּ (you⁺ shall present) עֹלָ֖ה (a burnt offering) לַיהוָ֑ה (to YHWH): פָּרִ֨ים (Bulls) בְּנֵֽי־ (sons) בָקָ֤ר (of the herd) שְׁנַ֙יִם֙ (two), וְאַ֣יִל (and ram) אֶחָ֔ד (one), כְּבָשִׂ֧ים (and lambs) בְּנֵי־ (sons) שָׁנָ֛ה (of a year) שִׁבְעָ֖ה (seven) תְּמִימִֽם׃ (unblemished), 12  וּשְׁלֹשָׁ֣ה (and three) עֶשְׂרֹנִ֗ים (tenths of an ephah) סֹ֤לֶת (of fine flour) מִנְחָה֙ (as a grain offering) בְּלוּלָ֣ה (mixed) בַשֶּׁ֔מֶן (with the oil) לַפָּ֖ר (for bull), הָאֶחָ֑ד (one) וּשְׁנֵ֣י (and two) עֶשְׂרֹנִ֗ים (tenths of an ephah) סֹ֤לֶת (of fine flour) מִנְחָה֙ (as a grain offering) בְּלוּלָ֣ה (mixed) בַשֶּׁ֔מֶן (with the oil) לָאַ֖יִל (for ram) הָֽאֶחָֽד׃ (the one), 13  וְעִשָּׂרֹ֣ן (and a tenth) עִשָּׂר֗וֹן (part of an ephah) סֹ֤לֶת (of fine flour) מִנְחָה֙ (as a grain offering) בְּלוּלָ֣ה (mixed) בַשֶּׁ֔מֶן (with the oil) לַכֶּ֖בֶשׂ (for lamb) הָאֶחָ֑ד (one) עֹלָה֙ (as a burnt offering) רֵ֣יחַ (of aroma) נִיחֹ֔חַ (pleasing), אִשֶּׁ֖ה (a fire offering) לַיהוָֽה׃ (to YHWH).

14  וְנִסְכֵּיהֶ֗ם (And their drink offerings) חֲצִ֣י (half) הַהִין֩ (a hin) יִהְיֶ֨ה (shall be) לַפָּ֜ר (for a bull), וּשְׁלִישִׁ֧ת (and a third) הַהִ֣ין (of a hin) לָאַ֗יִל (for a ram), וּרְבִיעִ֥ת (and a fourth) הַהִ֛ין (of a hin) לַכֶּ֖בֶשׂ (for a lamb) יָ֑יִן (of wine). זֹ֣את (This) עֹלַ֥ת (is the burnt offering for) חֹ֙דֶשׁ֙ (month) בְּחָדְשׁ֔וֹ (by month) לְחָדְשֵׁ֖י (throughout the months) הַשָּׁנָֽה׃ (of the year).

15  וּשְׂעִ֨יר (And kid) עִזִּ֥ים (of the goats) אֶחָ֛ד (one) לְחַטָּ֖את (as a sin offering) לַיהוָ֑ה (to YHWH) עַל־ (besides) עֹלַ֧ת (burnt offering) הַתָּמִ֛יד (the regular) יֵעָשֶׂ֖ה (shall be offered), וְנִסְכּֽוֹ׃ס (and its drink offering).

Passover and the Feast of Unleavened Bread
(Exodus 12:14–28; Leviticus 23:4–8; Deuteronomy 16:1–8)

16  וּבַחֹ֣דֶשׁ (And in the month) הָרִאשׁ֗וֹן (first), בְּאַרְבָּעָ֥ה (the four) עָשָׂ֛ר (and tenth) י֖וֹם (day) לַחֹ֑דֶשׁ (of the month) פֶּ֖סַח (is the Passover) לַיהוָֽה׃ (of YHWH). 17  וּבַחֲמִשָּׁ֨ה (And on the five) עָשָׂ֥ר (and tenth) י֛וֹם (day) לַחֹ֥דֶשׁ (of the month) הַזֶּ֖ה (this) חָ֑ג (is the feast); שִׁבְעַ֣ת (seven) יָמִ֔ים (for days) מַצּ֖וֹת (unleavened bread) יֵאָכֵֽל׃ (shall be eaten).

18  בַּיּ֥וֹם (On the day) הָרִאשׁ֖וֹן (first) מִקְרָא־ (is a convocation) קֹ֑דֶשׁ (holy); כָּל־ (any) מְלֶ֥אכֶת (work) עֲבֹדָ֖ה (customary) לֹ֥א (not) תַעֲשֽׂוּ׃ (you⁺ shall do). 19  וְהִקְרַבְתֶּ֨ם (And you⁺ shall present) אִשֶּׁ֤ה (a fire offering) עֹלָה֙ (as a burnt offering) לַֽיהוָ֔ה (to YHWH): פָּרִ֧ים (Bulls), בְּנֵי־ (sons) בָקָ֛ר (of the herd), שְׁנַ֖יִם (two), וְאַ֣יִל (and ram) אֶחָ֑ד (one), וְשִׁבְעָ֤ה (and seven) כְבָשִׂים֙ (lambs), בְּנֵ֣י (sons) שָׁנָ֔ה (of a year), תְּמִימִ֖ם (unblemished) יִהְי֥וּ (They shall be) לָכֶֽם׃ (for you⁺). 20  וּמִ֨נְחָתָ֔ם (And their grain offerings is) סֹ֖לֶת (of fine flour) בְּלוּלָ֣ה (mixed) בַשָּׁ֑מֶן (with the oil), שְׁלֹשָׁ֨ה (three) עֶשְׂרֹנִ֜ים (tenths of an ephah) לַפָּ֗ר (for a bull), וּשְׁנֵ֧י (and two) עֶשְׂרֹנִ֛ים (tenths) לָאַ֖יִל (for a ram) תַּעֲשֽׂוּ׃ (you⁺ shall prepare). 21  עִשָּׂר֤וֹן (A tenth) עִשָּׂרוֹן֙ (part of an ephah) תַּעֲשֶׂ֔ה (you shall prepare) לַכֶּ֖בֶשׂ (for the lamb) הָאֶחָ֑ד (one), לְשִׁבְעַ֖ת (for the seven) הַכְּבָשִֽׂים׃ (of the lambs), 22  וּשְׂעִ֥יר (and goat) חַטָּ֖את (as a sin offering) אֶחָ֑ד (one), לְכַפֵּ֖ר (to make atonement) עֲלֵיכֶֽם׃ (upon you⁺).

23  מִלְּבַד֙ (Besides) עֹלַ֣ת (the burnt offering) הַבֹּ֔קֶר (of the morning), אֲשֶׁ֖ר (which is) לְעֹלַ֣ת (for a burnt offering) הַתָּמִ֑יד (regular) תַּעֲשׂ֖וּ (you⁺ shall prepare) אֶת־ (-) אֵֽלֶּה׃ (these). 24  כָּאֵ֜לֶּה (Like these) תַּעֲשׂ֤וּ (you⁺ shall prepare) לַיּוֹם֙ (day by day) שִׁבְעַ֣ת (seven) יָמִ֔ים (days) לֶ֛חֶם (the food) אִשֵּׁ֥ה (of the fire offering) רֵֽיחַ־ (as an aroma) נִיחֹ֖חַ (pleasing) לַיהוָ֑ה (to YHWH); עַל־ (besides) עוֹלַ֧ת (burnt offering) הַתָּמִ֛יד (the regular) יֵעָשֶׂ֖ה (it shall be made), וְנִסְכּֽוֹ׃ (and its drink offering).

25  וּבַיּוֹם֙ (And on the day) הַשְּׁבִיעִ֔י (seventh) מִקְרָא־ (a convocation) קֹ֖דֶשׁ (holy) יִהְיֶ֣ה (shall have) לָכֶ֑ם (you⁺); כָּל־ (any) מְלֶ֥אכֶת (work) עֲבֹדָ֖ה (customary) לֹ֥א (not) תַעֲשֽׂוּ׃ס (you⁺ shall do).

The Feast of Weeks
(Deuteronomy 16:9–12)

26  וּבְי֣וֹם (And on the day) הַבִּכּוּרִ֗ים (of the firstfruits), בְּהַקְרִ֨יבְכֶ֜ם (when you⁺ bring) מִנְחָ֤ה (a grain offering) חֲדָשָׁה֙ (new) לַֽיהוָ֔ה (to YHWH), בְּשָׁבֻעֹ֖תֵיכֶ֑ם (in your⁺ Weeks) מִֽקְרָא־ (a convocation) קֹ֙דֶשׁ֙ (holy) יִהְיֶ֣ה (shall have) לָכֶ֔ם (you⁺); כָּל־ (any) מְלֶ֥אכֶת (work) עֲבֹדָ֖ה (customary) לֹ֥א (not) תַעֲשֽׂוּ׃ (you⁺ shall do).

27  וְהִקְרַבְתֶּ֨ם (And you⁺ shall present) עוֹלָ֜ה (a burnt offering) לְרֵ֤יחַ (as an aroma) נִיחֹ֙חַ֙ (pleasing) לַֽיהוָ֔ה (to YHWH), פָּרִ֧ים (bulls) בְּנֵי־ (sons) בָקָ֛ר (of the herd) שְׁנַ֖יִם (two), אַ֣יִל (ram) אֶחָ֑ד (one), שִׁבְעָ֥ה (seven) כְבָשִׂ֖ים (lambs) בְּנֵ֥י (sons) שָׁנָֽה׃ (of a year); 28  וּמִנְחָתָ֔ם (and their grain offerings) סֹ֖לֶת (of fine flour) בְּלוּלָ֣ה (mixed) בַשָּׁ֑מֶן (with the oil), שְׁלֹשָׁ֤ה (three) עֶשְׂרֹנִים֙ (tenths of an ephah) לַפָּ֣ר (for the bull) הָֽאֶחָ֔ד (one), שְׁנֵי֙ (two) עֶשְׂרֹנִ֔ים (tenths) לָאַ֖יִל (for the ram) הָאֶחָֽד׃ (the one), 29  עִשָּׂרוֹן֙ (a tenth) עִשָּׂר֔וֹן (part of an ephah) לַכֶּ֖בֶשׂ (for the lamb) הָאֶחָ֑ד (one) לְשִׁבְעַ֖ת (for the seven) הַכְּבָשִֽׂים׃ (the lambs); 30  שְׂעִ֥יר (kid) עִזִּ֖ים (of the goats) אֶחָ֑ד (one) לְכַפֵּ֖ר (to make atonement) עֲלֵיכֶֽם׃ (upon you⁺). 31  מִלְּבַ֞ד (Besides) עֹלַ֧ת (burnt offering) הַתָּמִ֛יד (the regular) וּמִנְחָת֖וֹ (and its grain offering), תַּעֲשׂ֑וּ (you⁺ shall present them) תְּמִימִ֥ם (unblemished) יִהְיוּ־ (be sure they are) לָכֶ֖ם (to them) וְנִסְכֵּיהֶֽם׃פ (and their drink offerings).
