(Exodus 23:14–19)

1  וַיְדַבֵּ֥ר (And spoke) יְהוָ֖ה (YHWH) אֶל־ (to) מֹשֶׁ֥ה (Moses), לֵּאמֹֽר׃ (saying), 2  דַּבֵּ֞ר (Speak) אֶל־ (to) בְּנֵ֤י (the sons) יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ (of Israel), וְאָמַרְתָּ֣ (and say) אֲלֵהֶ֔ם (to them), מוֹעֲדֵ֣י (The appointed times) יְהוָ֔ה (of YHWH) אֲשֶׁר־ (that) תִּקְרְא֥וּ (you⁺ shall proclaim to be) אֹתָ֖ם (-) מִקְרָאֵ֣י (convocations) קֹ֑דֶשׁ (holy)— אֵ֥לֶּה (these) הֵ֖ם (are) מוֹעֲדָֽי׃ (My appointed times).

3  שֵׁ֣שֶׁת (Six) יָמִים֮ (days) תֵּעָשֶׂ֣ה (shall be done) מְלָאכָה֒ (work), וּבַיּ֣וֹם (and in the day) הַשְּׁבִיעִ֗י (the seventh) שַׁבַּ֤ת (is a Sabbath) שַׁבָּתוֹן֙ (of complete rest), מִקְרָא־ (a convocation) קֹ֔דֶשׁ (holy). כָּל־ (Any) מְלָאכָ֖ה (work) לֹ֣א (not) תַעֲשׂ֑וּ (shall you⁺ do). שַׁבָּ֥ת (The Sabbath) הִוא֙ (it is) לַֽיהוָ֔ה (of YHWH) בְּכֹ֖ל (in all) מֽוֹשְׁבֹתֵיכֶֽם׃פ (your⁺ dwellings).

Passover and the Feast of Unleavened Bread
(Exodus 12:14–28; Numbers 28:16–25; Deuteronomy 16:1–8)

4  אֵ֚לֶּה (These) מוֹעֲדֵ֣י (are the appointed times) יְהוָ֔ה (of YHWH), מִקְרָאֵ֖י (convocations) קֹ֑דֶשׁ (holy), אֲשֶׁר־ (which) תִּקְרְא֥וּ (you⁺ shall proclaim) אֹתָ֖ם (them) בְּמוֹעֲדָֽם׃ (at their appointed time). 5  בַּחֹ֣דֶשׁ (On the month) הָרִאשׁ֗וֹן (first) בְּאַרְבָּעָ֥ה (of the four) עָשָׂ֛ר (and tenth) לַחֹ֖דֶשׁ (of the month) בֵּ֣ין (between) הָעַרְבָּ֑יִם (the evenings) פֶּ֖סַח (is the passover) לַיהוָֽה׃ (to YHWH). 6  וּבַחֲמִשָּׁ֨ה (And on the five) עָשָׂ֥ר (and tenth) יוֹם֙ (day) לַחֹ֣דֶשׁ (of month) הַזֶּ֔ה (this) חַ֥ג (is the feast) הַמַּצּ֖וֹת (of the Unleavened) לַיהוָ֑ה (to YHWH). שִׁבְעַ֥ת (Seven) יָמִ֖ים (days) מַצּ֥וֹת (unleavened bread) תֹּאכֵֽלוּ׃ (you⁺ must eat). 7  בַּיּוֹם֙ (On the day) הָֽרִאשׁ֔וֹן (first), מִקְרָא־ (a convocation) קֹ֖דֶשׁ (holy) יִהְיֶ֣ה (shall have) לָכֶ֑ם (you⁺). כָּל־ (Any) מְלֶ֥אכֶת (work) עֲבֹדָ֖ה (customary) לֹ֥א (not) תַעֲשֽׂוּ׃ (shall you⁺ do). 8  וְהִקְרַבְתֶּ֥ם (And you⁺ shall offer) אִשֶּׁ֛ה (a fire offering for) לַיהוָ֖ה (to YHWH) שִׁבְעַ֣ת (seven) יָמִ֑ים (days). בַּיּ֤וֹם (The day) הַשְּׁבִיעִי֙ (seventh) מִקְרָא־ (is a convocation) קֹ֔דֶשׁ (holy); כָּל־ (any) מְלֶ֥אכֶת (work) עֲבֹדָ֖ה (customary) לֹ֥א (not) תַעֲשֽׂוּ׃פ (shall you⁺ do).

The Feast of Firstfruits

9  וַיְדַבֵּ֥ר (And spoke) יְהוָ֖ה (YHWH) אֶל־ (to) מֹשֶׁ֥ה (Moses), לֵּאמֹֽר׃ (saying), 10  דַּבֵּ֞ר (Speak) אֶל־ (to) בְּנֵ֤י (the sons) יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ (of Israel) וְאָמַרְתָּ֣ (and say) אֲלֵהֶ֔ם (to them), כִּֽי־ (When) תָבֹ֣אוּ (you⁺ come) אֶל־ (into) הָאָ֗רֶץ (the land) אֲשֶׁ֤ר (that) אֲנִי֙ (I am) נֹתֵ֣ן (giving) לָכֶ֔ם (to you⁺) וּקְצַרְתֶּ֖ם (and you⁺ reap) אֶת־ (-) קְצִירָ֑הּ (its harvest), וַהֲבֵאתֶ֥ם (and you⁺ shall bring) אֶת־ (-) עֹ֛מֶר (a sheaf) רֵאשִׁ֥ית (of the firstfruits) קְצִירְכֶ֖ם (of your⁺ harvest) אֶל־ (to) הַכֹּהֵֽן׃ (the priest). 11  וְהֵנִ֧יף (And he shall wave) אֶת־ (-) הָעֹ֛מֶר (the sheaf) לִפְנֵ֥י (before the face of) יְהוָ֖ה (YHWH) לִֽרְצֹנְכֶ֑ם (to be accepted on your⁺ behalf). מִֽמָּחֳרַת֙ (On the day) הַשַּׁבָּ֔ת (after the Sabbath) יְנִיפֶ֖נּוּ (shall wave it) הַכֹּהֵֽן׃ (the priest).

12  וַעֲשִׂיתֶ֕ם (And you⁺ shall offer) בְּי֥וֹם (on that day) הֲנִֽיפְכֶ֖ם (when you⁺ wave) אֶת־ (-) הָעֹ֑מֶר (the sheaf) כֶּ֣בֶשׂ (a male lamb) תָּמִ֧ים (unblemished), בֶּן־ (a son) שְׁנָת֛וֹ (of a year), לְעֹלָ֖ה (as a burnt offering) לַיהוָֽה׃ (to YHWH). 13  וּמִנְחָתוֹ֩ (And its grain offering is) שְׁנֵ֨י (two) עֶשְׂרֹנִ֜ים (tenths of an ephah) סֹ֣לֶת (of fine flour) בְּלוּלָ֥ה (mixed) בַשֶּׁ֛מֶן (with the oil), אִשֶּׁ֥ה (a fire offering) לַיהוָ֖ה (to YHWH), רֵ֣יחַ (an aroma) נִיחֹ֑חַ (pleasing). וְנִסְכֹּ֥ה (And its drink offering is) יַ֖יִן (of wine) רְבִיעִ֥ת (a fourth) הַהִֽין׃ (of a hin).

14  וְלֶחֶם֩ (And bread), וְקָלִ֨י (and not parched grain), וְכַרְמֶ֜ל (and not fresh grain), לֹ֣א (not) תֹֽאכְל֗וּ (you⁺ shall eat) עַד־ (until) עֶ֙צֶם֙ (the same) הַיּ֣וֹם (day) הַזֶּ֔ה (this) עַ֚ד (that) הֲבִ֣יאֲכֶ֔ם (you⁺ have brought) אֶת־ (-) קָרְבַּ֖ן (an offering) אֱלֹהֵיכֶ֑ם (to your⁺ God); חֻקַּ֤ת (it shall be a statute) עוֹלָם֙ (everlasting) לְדֹרֹ֣תֵיכֶ֔ם (throughout your⁺ generations) בְּכֹ֖ל (in all) מֹשְׁבֹֽתֵיכֶֽם׃ס (your⁺ dwellings).

The Feast of Weeks
(Acts 2:1–13)

15  וּסְפַרְתֶּ֤ם (And you⁺ shall count) לָכֶם֙ (for yourselves) מִמָּחֳרַ֣ת (from the day) הַשַּׁבָּ֔ת (after the Sabbath), מִיּוֹם֙ (from the day) הֲבִ֣יאֲכֶ֔ם (that you⁺ brought) אֶת־ (-) עֹ֖מֶר (the sheaf) הַתְּנוּפָ֑ה (of the wave offering), שֶׁ֥בַע (seven) שַׁבָּת֖וֹת (Sabbaths) תְּמִימֹ֥ת (completed) תִּהְיֶֽינָה׃ (they are). 16  עַ֣ד (Until) מִֽמָּחֳרַ֤ת (the day after) הַשַּׁבָּת֙ (the Sabbath) הַשְּׁבִיעִ֔ת (the seventh) תִּסְפְּר֖וּ (shall you⁺ number) חֲמִשִּׁ֣ים (fifty) י֑וֹם (days) the) are וְהִקְרַבְתֶּ֛ם (and you⁺ shall offer) מִנְחָ֥ה (a grain offering) חֲדָשָׁ֖ה (new) לַיהוָֽה׃ (to YHWH).

17  מִמּוֹשְׁבֹ֨תֵיכֶ֜ם (From your⁺ dwellings) תָּבִ֣יאּוּ׀ (you⁺ shall bring) לֶ֣חֶם (bread) תְּנוּפָ֗ה (of a wave offering) שְׁ֚תַּיִם (two), שְׁנֵ֣י (of two) עֶשְׂרֹנִ֔ים (tenths of an ephah) סֹ֣לֶת (of fine flour); תִּהְיֶ֔ינָה (they shall be) חָמֵ֖ץ (with leaven); תֵּאָפֶ֑ינָה (they shall be baked), בִּכּוּרִ֖ים (the firstfruits) לַֽיהוָֽה׃ (to YHWH).

18  וְהִקְרַבְתֶּ֣ם (And you⁺ shall offer) עַל־ (with) הַלֶּ֗חֶם (the bread) שִׁבְעַ֨ת (seven) כְּבָשִׂ֤ים (lambs) תְּמִימִם֙ (unblemished) בְּנֵ֣י (sons) שָׁנָ֔ה (of a year), וּפַ֧ר (and a bull), בֶּן־ (a son) בָּקָ֛ר (of the herd) אֶחָ֖ד (one), וְאֵילִ֣ם (and rams) שְׁנָ֑יִם (two); יִהְי֤וּ (they shall be) עֹלָה֙ (a burnt offering) לַֽיהוָ֔ה (to YHWH), וּמִנְחָתָם֙ (and with their grain offerings), וְנִסְכֵּיהֶ֔ם (and their drink offerings), אִשֵּׁ֥ה (a fire offering) רֵֽיחַ־ (for an aroma) נִיחֹ֖חַ (pleasing) לַיהוָֽה׃ (to YHWH).

19  וַעֲשִׂיתֶ֛ם (And you⁺ shall sacrifice) שְׂעִיר־ (kid) עִזִּ֥ים (of the goats) אֶחָ֖ד (one) לְחַטָּ֑את (as a sin offering), וּשְׁנֵ֧י (and two) כְבָשִׂ֛ים (male lambs) בְּנֵ֥י (sons) שָׁנָ֖ה (of a year) לְזֶ֥בַח (as a sacrifice) שְׁלָמִֽים׃ (of peace offerings). 20  וְהֵנִ֣יף (And shall wave) הַכֹּהֵ֣ן׀ (the priest) אֹתָ֡ם (them) עַל֩ (with) לֶ֨חֶם (the bread) הַבִּכּוּרִ֤ים (of the firstfruits) תְּנוּפָה֙ (as a wave offering) לִפְנֵ֣י (before the face of) יְהוָ֔ה (YHWH), עַל־ (besides) שְׁנֵ֖י (the two) כְּבָשִׂ֑ים (lambs); קֹ֛דֶשׁ (holy) יִהְי֥וּ (they shall be) לַיהוָ֖ה (to YHWH) לַכֹּהֵֽן׃ (for the priest).

21  וּקְרָאתֶ֞ם (And you⁺ shall proclaim) בְּעֶ֣צֶם׀ (on the same) הַיּ֣וֹם (day) הַזֶּ֗ה (this) מִֽקְרָא־ (a convocation), קֹ֙דֶשׁ֙ (holy) יִהְיֶ֣ה (it is) לָכֶ֔ם (to you⁺). כָּל־ (Any) מְלֶ֥אכֶת (work) עֲבֹדָ֖ה (customary) לֹ֣א (not) תַעֲשׂ֑וּ (shall you⁺ do); חֻקַּ֥ת (it shall be a statute) עוֹלָ֛ם (everlasting) בְּכָל־ (in all) מוֹשְׁבֹ֥תֵיכֶ֖ם (your⁺ dwellings) לְדֹרֹֽתֵיכֶֽם׃ (throughout your⁺ generations).

22  וּֽבְקֻצְרְכֶ֞ם (And in your⁺ reaping) אֶת־ (-) קְצִ֣יר (the harvest) אַרְצְכֶ֗ם (of your⁺ land), לֹֽא־ (not) תְכַלֶּ֞ה (you shall wholly reap) פְּאַ֤ת (the corners) שָֽׂדְךָ֙ (of your field) בְּקֻצְרֶ֔ךָ (in your reaping), וְלֶ֥קֶט (and the gleaning) קְצִירְךָ֖ (of your harvest) לֹ֣א (not) תְלַקֵּ֑ט (shall you gather). לֶֽעָנִ֤י (To the poor) וְלַגֵּר֙ (and to the sojourner) תַּעֲזֹ֣ב (you shall leave) אֹתָ֔ם (them). אֲנִ֖י (I am) יְהוָ֥ה (YHWH) אֱלֹהֵיכֶֽם׃ס (your⁺ God).

The Feast of Trumpets
(Numbers 29:1–6)

23  וַיְדַבֵּ֥ר (And spoke) יְהוָ֖ה (YHWH) אֶל־ (to) מֹשֶׁ֥ה (Moses), לֵּאמֹֽר׃ (saying), 24  דַּבֵּ֛ר (Speak) אֶל־ (to) בְּנֵ֥י (the sons) יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל (of Israel), לֵאמֹ֑ר (saying), בַּחֹ֨דֶשׁ (In the month) הַשְּׁבִיעִ֜י (seventh), בְּאֶחָ֣ד (on the first) לַחֹ֗דֶשׁ (of the month), יִהְיֶ֤ה (it shall be) לָכֶם֙ (to you⁺) שַׁבָּת֔וֹן (a complete rest), זִכְר֥וֹן (a memorial) תְּרוּעָ֖ה (of shouting), מִקְרָא־ (a convocation) קֹֽדֶשׁ׃ (holy). 25  כָּל־ (Any) מְלֶ֥אכֶת (work) עֲבֹדָ֖ה (customary) לֹ֣א (not) תַעֲשׂ֑וּ (shall you⁺ do), וְהִקְרַבְתֶּ֥ם (and you⁺ shall offer) אִשֶּׁ֖ה (a fire offering) לַיהוָֽה׃ס (to YHWH).

The Day of Atonement
(Leviticus 16:1–34; Numbers 29:7–11)

26  וַיְדַבֵּ֥ר (And spoke) יְהוָ֖ה (YHWH) אֶל־ (to) מֹשֶׁ֥ה (Moses), לֵּאמֹֽר׃ (saying), 27  אַ֡ךְ (Indeed) בֶּעָשׂ֣וֹר (the tenth) לַחֹדֶשׁ֩ (of the month) הַשְּׁבִיעִ֨י (seventh) הַזֶּ֜ה (this), י֧וֹם (the Day) הַכִּפֻּרִ֣ים (of Atonement) ה֗וּא (it is). מִֽקְרָא־ (A convocation) קֹ֙דֶשׁ֙ (holy) יִהְיֶ֣ה (shall it be) לָכֶ֔ם (for you⁺), וְעִנִּיתֶ֖ם (and you⁺ shall afflict) אֶת־ (-) נַפְשֹׁתֵיכֶ֑ם (your⁺ souls) וְהִקְרַבְתֶּ֥ם (and offer) אִשֶּׁ֖ה (a fire offering) לַיהוָֽה׃ (to YHWH).

28  וְכָל־ (And any) מְלָאכָה֙ (work) לֹ֣א (not) תַעֲשׂ֔וּ (you⁺ shall do) בְּעֶ֖צֶם (on the same) הַיּ֣וֹם (day) הַזֶּ֑ה (this). כִּ֣י (For) י֤וֹם (the Day) כִּפֻּרִים֙ (of Atonement) ה֔וּא (it is), לְכַפֵּ֣ר (to make atonement) עֲלֵיכֶ֔ם (upon you⁺) לִפְנֵ֖י (before the face of) יְהוָ֥ה (YHWH) אֱלֹהֵיכֶֽם׃ (your⁺ God). 29  כִּ֤י (For) כָל־ (any) הַנֶּ֙פֶשׁ֙ (person) אֲשֶׁ֣ר (who) לֹֽא־ (not) תְעֻנֶּ֔ה (is afflicted) בְּעֶ֖צֶם (on the same) הַיּ֣וֹם (day) הַזֶּ֑ה (this) וְנִכְרְתָ֖ה (shall even be cut off) מֵֽעַמֶּֽיהָ׃ (from his people). 30  וְכָל־ (And any) הַנֶּ֗פֶשׁ (person) אֲשֶׁ֤ר (who) תַּעֲשֶׂה֙ (does) כָּל־ (any) מְלָאכָ֔ה (work) בְּעֶ֖צֶם (on the same) הַיּ֣וֹם (day) הַזֶּ֑ה (this), וְהַֽאֲבַדְתִּ֛י (and I will destroy) אֶת־ (-) הַנֶּ֥פֶשׁ (person) הַהִ֖וא (that) מִקֶּ֥רֶב (from among) עַמָּֽהּ׃ (his people).

31  כָּל־ (Any) מְלָאכָ֖ה (work) לֹ֣א (not) תַעֲשׂ֑וּ (you⁺ shall do); חֻקַּ֤ת (it is a statute) עוֹלָם֙ (everlasting) לְדֹרֹ֣תֵיכֶ֔ם (throughout your⁺ generations) בְּכֹ֖ל (in all) מֹֽשְׁבֹֽתֵיכֶֽם׃ (your⁺ dwellings). 32  שַׁבַּ֨ת (A Sabbath) שַׁבָּת֥וֹן (of complete rest) הוּא֙ (it is) לָכֶ֔ם (to you⁺), וְעִנִּיתֶ֖ם (and you⁺ shall afflict) אֶת־ (-) נַפְשֹׁתֵיכֶ֑ם (your⁺ souls). בְּתִשְׁעָ֤ה (On the day ninth) לַחֹ֙דֶשׁ֙ (of the month) בָּעֶ֔רֶב (at the evening). מֵעֶ֣רֶב (From evening) עַד־ (to) עֶ֔רֶב (evening) תִּשְׁבְּת֖וּ (you⁺ shall celebrate) שַׁבַּתְּכֶֽם׃פ (your⁺ Sabbath).

The Feast of Tabernacles
(Nehemiah 8:13–18; Zechariah 14:16–21)

33  וַיְדַבֵּ֥ר (And spoke) יְהוָ֖ה (YHWH) אֶל־ (to) מֹשֶׁ֥ה (Moses), לֵּאמֹֽר׃ (saying), 34  דַּבֵּ֛ר (Speak) אֶל־ (to) בְּנֵ֥י (the sons) יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל (of Israel), לֵאמֹ֑ר (saying), בַּחֲמִשָּׁ֨ה (Five) עָשָׂ֜ר (the tenth) י֗וֹם (day) לַחֹ֤דֶשׁ (of the month) הַשְּׁבִיעִי֙ (seventh) הַזֶּ֔ה (this) חַ֧ג (is the Feast) הַסֻּכּ֛וֹת (of Booths) שִׁבְעַ֥ת (for seven) יָמִ֖ים (days) לַיהֹוָֽה׃ (to YHWH). 35  בַּיּ֥וֹם (On the day) הָרִאשׁ֖וֹן (first), מִקְרָא־ (is a convocation) קֹ֑דֶשׁ (holy); כָּל־ (any) מְלֶ֥אכֶת (work) עֲבֹדָ֖ה (customary) לֹ֥א (not) תַעֲשֽׂוּ׃ (you⁺ shall do). 36  שִׁבְעַ֣ת (For seven) יָמִ֔ים (days) תַּקְרִ֥יבוּ (you⁺ shall offer) אִשֶּׁ֖ה (a fire offering) לַיהוָ֑ה (to YHWH). בַּיּ֣וֹם (On the day) הַשְּׁמִינִ֡י (eighth) מִקְרָא־ (a convocation) קֹדֶשׁ֩ (holy) יִהְיֶ֨ה (shall have) לָכֶ֜ם (you⁺), וְהִקְרַבְתֶּ֨ם (and you⁺ shall offer) אִשֶּׁ֤ה (a fire offering) לַֽיהוָה֙ (to YHWH). עֲצֶ֣רֶת (A sacred assembly) הִ֔וא (it is); כָּל־ (any) מְלֶ֥אכֶת (work) עֲבֹדָ֖ה (customary) לֹ֥א (not) תַעֲשֽׂוּ׃ (you⁺ shall do).

37  אֵ֚לֶּה (These) מוֹעֲדֵ֣י (are the appointed times) יְהוָ֔ה (of YHWH)— אֲשֶׁר־ (that) תִּקְרְא֥וּ (you⁺ shall proclaim) אֹתָ֖ם (them) מִקְרָאֵ֣י (as convocations) קֹ֑דֶשׁ (holy), לְהַקְרִ֨יב (to bring near) אִשֶּׁ֜ה (a fire offering) לַיהוָ֗ה (to YHWH), עֹלָ֧ה (a burnt offering), וּמִנְחָ֛ה (and a grain offering), זֶ֥בַח (a sacrifice), וּנְסָכִ֖ים (and drink offerings), דְּבַר־ (the thing) י֥וֹם (of a day) בְּיוֹמֽוֹ׃ (on its day)— 38  מִלְּבַ֖ד (besides) שַׁבְּתֹ֣ת (the Sabbaths) יְּהוָ֑ה (of YHWH), וּמִלְּבַ֣ד (and besides) מַתְּנֽוֹתֵיכֶ֗ם (your⁺ gifts), וּמִלְּבַ֤ד (and besides) כָּל־ (all) נִדְרֵיכֶם֙ (your⁺ vows), וּמִלְּבַד֙ (and besides) כָּל־ (all) נִדְב֣וֹתֵיכֶ֔ם (your⁺ freewill offerings), אֲשֶׁ֥ר (that) תִּתְּנ֖וּ (you⁺ give) לַיהוָֽה׃ (to YHWH).

39  אַ֡ךְ (Indeed) בַּחֲמִשָּׁה֩ (on the five) עָשָׂ֨ר (and tenth) י֜וֹם (day) לַחֹ֣דֶשׁ (in the month) הַשְּׁבִיעִ֗י (the seventh), בְּאָסְפְּכֶם֙ (when you⁺ have gathered in) אֶת־ (-) תְּבוּאַ֣ת (the produce) הָאָ֔רֶץ (of the land), תָּחֹ֥גּוּ (you⁺ shall keep) אֶת־ (-) חַג־ (the feast) יְהוָ֖ה (of YHWH) שִׁבְעַ֣ת (for seven) יָמִ֑ים (days). בַּיּ֤וֹם (On the day) הָֽרִאשׁוֹן֙ (the first) שַׁבָּת֔וֹן (is a complete rest), וּבַיּ֥וֹם (and on the day) הַשְּׁמִינִ֖י (the eighth) שַׁבָּתֽוֹן׃ (a complete rest).

40  וּלְקַחְתֶּ֨ם (And you⁺ shall take) לָכֶ֜ם (for yourselves) בַּיּ֣וֹם (on the day) הָרִאשׁ֗וֹן (first) פְּרִ֨י (the fruit) עֵ֤ץ (of trees) הָדָר֙ (beautiful), כַּפֹּ֣ת (branches) תְּמָרִ֔ים (of palms), וַעֲנַ֥ף (and the boughs) עֵץ־ (of trees) עָבֹ֖ת (leafy), וְעַרְבֵי־ (and willows) נָ֑חַל (of the brook). וּשְׂמַחְתֶּ֗ם (And you⁺ shall rejoice) לִפְנֵ֛י (before the face of) יְהוָ֥ה (YHWH) אֱלֹהֵיכֶ֖ם (your⁺ God) שִׁבְעַ֥ת (for seven) יָמִֽים׃ (days). 41  וְחַגֹּתֶ֤ם (And you⁺ shall keep) אֹתוֹ֙ (it) חַ֣ג (as a feast) לַֽיהוָ֔ה (to YHWH) שִׁבְעַ֥ת (for seven) יָמִ֖ים (days) בַּשָּׁנָ֑ה (in the year), חֻקַּ֤ת (a statute) עוֹלָם֙ (everlasting) לְדֹרֹ֣תֵיכֶ֔ם (in your⁺ generations). בַּחֹ֥דֶשׁ (In the month) הַשְּׁבִיעִ֖י (seventh) תָּחֹ֥גּוּ (you⁺ shall celebrate) אֹתֽוֹ׃ (it).

42  בַּסֻּכֹּ֥ת (In booths) תֵּשְׁב֖וּ (you⁺ shall dwell) שִׁבְעַ֣ת (for seven) יָמִ֑ים (days). כָּל־ (All) הָֽאֶזְרָח֙ (the native) בְּיִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל (of Israel) יֵשְׁב֖וּ (shall dwell) בַּסֻּכֹּֽת׃ (in booths), 43  לְמַעַן֮ (that) יֵדְע֣וּ (may know) דֹרֹֽתֵיכֶם֒ (your⁺ generations) כִּ֣י (that) בַסֻּכּ֗וֹת (in booths) הוֹשַׁ֙בְתִּי֙ (I made to dwell) אֶת־ (-) בְּנֵ֣י (the sons) יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל (of Israel) בְּהוֹצִיאִ֥י (when I brought them) אוֹתָ֖ם (-) מֵאֶ֣רֶץ (out of the land) מִצְרָ֑יִם (of Egypt). אֲנִ֖י (I am) יְהוָ֥ה (YHWH) אֱלֹהֵיכֶֽם׃ (your⁺ God).

44  וַיְדַבֵּ֣ר (And declared) מֹשֶׁ֔ה (Moses) אֶת־ (-) מֹעֲדֵ֖י (the appointed times) יְהוָ֑ה (of YHWH) אֶל־ (to) בְּנֵ֖י (the sons) יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃פ (of Israel).
