Tell of His Wonders 1Give thanks to YHWH; call on His name; make known among the nations His deeds! 2Sing to Him, make music to Him; 3Glory in the name of His holiness; let the heart of those seeking YHWH rejoice! 4Search after YHWH and His strength; 5Remember His wonders that He has done— His wonders and the judgments of His mouth— 6O seed of Abraham His servant, O sons of Jacob, His chosen ones! 7He is YHWH our God; His judgments are over all the earth. 8He remembers His covenant forever— the word He commanded for a thousand generations— 9that which He cut with Abraham, 10And He established it to Jacob as a decree, to Israel as a covenant forever, 11saying, “To you I will give the land of Canaan, the portion of your⁺ inheritance.” 12In their being few in number, few indeed, and strangers in it, 13and they went about from nation to nation, from a kingdom to another people. 14He has permitted no man to oppress them, and He rebuked kings for them: 15“You⁺ shall not touch My anointed ones, and to My prophets You⁺ shall not do evil.” 16And He called down famine on the land; the whole staff† of bread He has broken. 17He sent before them a man, 18They afflicted his feet with the fetters; 19until the time of the coming of His word— 20The king sent and released him, and the ruler of the peoples drew him out. 21He made him lord of his house, and ruler of all his substance, 22to instruct† his princes by his soul, 23And Israel came to Egypt, and Jacob resided in the land of Ham. 24And His people He made exceedingly fruitful, and made them mightier than their enemies. 25He turned their heart to hate His people, to act deceitfully with His servants. 26He sent Moses His servant, 27They set among them the words of His signs, and wonders in the land of Ham. 28He sent darkness and it became dark, and they defied His words.† 29He turned their waters to blood, and He put to death their fish. 30Their land swarmed with frogs, in the inner chambers of their kings. 31He spoke, and the swarm came, 32He gave hail for rain, 33And He struck their vines and their fig trees, and He shattered the trees of their country. 34He spoke, and the locust came, and the young locust without number, 35and it ate up every herb in their land, and it devoured the fruit of their ground. 36And He struck all the firstborn in their land, the firstfruits of all their vigor. 37And He brought them out with silver and gold, and there were none among His tribes stumbling. 38Egypt was glad at their going out, for the dread of them had fallen upon them. 39He spread a cloud for a screen, and fire to light up the night. 40They asked, and He brought quail, and with the bread of the heavens He satisfied them. 41He opened the rock, and waters gushed from it; they went forth in the desert like a river. 42For He remembered the word of His holiness to Abraham 43And He brought out His people with rejoicing, and His chosen with a shout of joy. 44And He gave to them the lands of the nations, and they possessed the labor of the peoples, 45that they may keep His statutes and obey His laws.
