Good News Translation
I opened the door for my lover, but he had already gone. How I wanted to hear his voice! I looked for him, but couldn't find him; I called to him, but heard no answer.

And I yearned for him while he spoke to me, but when I opened the door, my darling had disappeared. I searched and shouted, but I could not find him--there was no answer.
