1Oh give thanks to the LORD; call upon his name; make known his deeds among the peoples!1Oh give thanks to the LORD, call upon His name; Make known His deeds among the peoples.
2Sing to him, sing praises to him; tell of all his wondrous works!2Sing to Him, sing praises to Him; Speak of all His wonders.
3Glory in his holy name; let the hearts of those who seek the LORD rejoice!3Glory in His holy name; Let the heart of those who seek the LORD be glad.
4Seek the LORD and his strength; seek his presence continually!4Seek the LORD and His strength; Seek His face continually.
5Remember the wondrous works that he has done, his miracles, and the judgments he uttered,5Remember His wonders which He has done, His marvels and the judgments uttered by His mouth,
6O offspring of Abraham, his servant, children of Jacob, his chosen ones!6O seed of Abraham, His servant, O sons of Jacob, His chosen ones!
7He is the LORD our God; his judgments are in all the earth.7He is the LORD our God; His judgments are in all the earth.
8He remembers his covenant forever, the word that he commanded, for a thousand generations,8He has remembered His covenant forever, The word which He commanded to a thousand generations,
9the covenant that he made with Abraham, his sworn promise to Isaac,9The covenant which He made with Abraham, And His oath to Isaac.
10which he confirmed to Jacob as a statute, to Israel as an everlasting covenant,10Then He confirmed it to Jacob for a statute, To Israel as an everlasting covenant,
11saying, “To you I will give the land of Canaan as your portion for an inheritance.”11Saying, "To you I will give the land of Canaan As the portion of your inheritance,"
12When they were few in number, of little account, and sojourners in it,12When they were only a few men in number, Very few, and strangers in it.
13wandering from nation to nation, from one kingdom to another people,13And they wandered about from nation to nation, From one kingdom to another people.
14he allowed no one to oppress them; he rebuked kings on their account,14He permitted no man to oppress them, And He reproved kings for their sakes:
15saying, “Touch not my anointed ones, do my prophets no harm!”15"Do not touch My anointed ones, And do My prophets no harm."
16When he summoned a famine on the land and broke all supply of bread,16And He called for a famine upon the land; He broke the whole staff of bread.

18His feet were hurt with fetters; his neck was put in a collar of iron;18They afflicted his feet with fetters, He himself was laid in irons;

24And the LORD made his people very fruitful and made them stronger than their foes.24And He caused His people to be very fruitful, And made them stronger than their adversaries.

44And he gave them the lands of the nations, and they took possession of the fruit of the peoples’ toil,44He gave them also the lands of the nations, That they might take possession of the fruit of the peoples' labor,
45that they might keep his statutes and observe his laws. Praise the LORD!45So that they might keep His statutes And observe His laws, Praise the LORD!
