Offerings for the Tabernacle
(Exodus 35:4–9)

1  וַיְדַבֵּ֥ר (And spoke) יְהוָ֖ה (YHWH) אֶל־ (to) מֹשֶׁ֥ה (Moses), לֵּאמֹֽר׃ (saying), 2  דַּבֵּר֙ (Speak) אֶל־ (to) בְּנֵ֣י (the sons) יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל (of Israel), וְיִקְחוּ־ (and they shall take) לִ֖י (for Me) תְּרוּמָ֑ה (a contribution). מֵאֵ֤ת (From) כָּל־ (every) אִישׁ֙ (man) אֲשֶׁ֣ר (whose) יִדְּבֶ֣נּוּ (impels him) לִבּ֔וֹ (heart), תִּקְח֖וּ (you⁺ shall take) אֶת־ (-) תְּרוּמָתִֽי׃ (My contribution). 3  וְזֹאת֙ (And this is) הַתְּרוּמָ֔ה (the contribution) אֲשֶׁ֥ר (that) תִּקְח֖וּ (you⁺ shall take) מֵאִתָּ֑ם (from them):

זָהָ֥ב (Gold), וָכֶ֖סֶף (and silver), וּנְחֹֽשֶׁת׃ (and bronze),

4  וּתְכֵ֧לֶת (and blue), וְאַרְגָּמָ֛ן (and purple), וְתוֹלַ֥עַת (and yarn) שָׁנִ֖י (scarlet),

וְשֵׁ֥שׁ (and fine linen), וְעִזִּֽים׃ (and goats’ hair).

5  וְעֹרֹ֨ת (And skins) אֵילִ֧ם (ram) מְאָדָּמִ֛ים (dyed red), וְעֹרֹ֥ת (and skins) תְּחָשִׁ֖ים (badger),

וַעֲצֵ֥י (and wood) שִׁטִּֽים׃ (acacia).

6  שֶׁ֖מֶן (Oil) לַמָּאֹ֑ר (for the light),

בְּשָׂמִים֙ (and spices) לְשֶׁ֣מֶן (for oil) הַמִּשְׁחָ֔ה (the anointing) וְלִקְטֹ֖רֶת (and for incense) הַסַּמִּֽים׃ (of the spices).

7  אַבְנֵי־ (Stones) שֹׁ֕הַם (onyx) וְאַבְנֵ֖י (and stones) מִלֻּאִ֑ים (as settings) לָאֵפֹ֖ד (for the ephod) וְלַחֹֽשֶׁן׃ (and for the breastplate).

8  וְעָ֥שׂוּ (And let them make) לִ֖י (for Me) מִקְדָּ֑שׁ (a sanctuary), וְשָׁכַנְתִּ֖י (that I may dwell) בְּתוֹכָֽם׃ (in their midst). 9  כְּכֹ֗ל (According to all) אֲשֶׁ֤ר (that) אֲנִי֙ (I) מַרְאֶ֣ה (am showing) אוֹתְךָ֔ (you), אֵ֚ת (-) תַּבְנִ֣ית (that is the pattern) הַמִּשְׁכָּ֔ן (of the tabernacle), וְאֵ֖ת (and) תַּבְנִ֣ית (the pattern) כָּל־ (of all) כֵּלָ֑יו (its vessels); וְכֵ֖ן (and thus) תַּעֲשֽׂוּ׃ס (you⁺ shall make it).

The Ark of the Covenant
(Exodus 37:1–5)

10  וְעָשׂ֥וּ (And they shall make) אֲר֖וֹן (an ark) עֲצֵ֣י (of wood) שִׁטִּ֑ים (acacia), אַמָּתַ֨יִם (two cubits) וָחֵ֜צִי (and a half) אָרְכּ֗וֹ (its length), וְאַמָּ֤ה (and a cubit) וָחֵ֙צִי֙ (and a half) רָחְבּ֔וֹ (its width), וְאַמָּ֥ה (and a cubit) וָחֵ֖צִי (and a half) קֹמָתֽוֹ׃ (its height). 11  וְצִפִּיתָ֤ (And you shall overlay) אֹתוֹ֙ (it) זָהָ֣ב (with gold) טָה֔וֹר (pure); מִבַּ֥יִת (from within) וּמִח֖וּץ (and from without) תְּצַפֶּ֑נּוּ (you shall overlay it) וְעָשִׂ֧יתָ (and you shall make) עָלָ֛יו (on it) זֵ֥ר (a molding) זָהָ֖ב (of gold) סָבִֽיב׃ (all around).

12  וְיָצַ֣קְתָּ (And you shall cast) לּ֗וֹ (for it) אַרְבַּע֙ (four) טַבְּעֹ֣ת (rings) זָהָ֔ב (of gold), וְנָ֣תַתָּ֔ה (and put them) עַ֖ל (on) אַרְבַּ֣ע (its four) פַּעֲמֹתָ֑יו (feet), וּשְׁתֵּ֣י (and two) טַבָּעֹ֗ת (rings) עַל־ (on) צַלְעוֹ֙ (its side) הָֽאֶחָ֔ת (the one), וּשְׁתֵּי֙ (and two) טַבָּעֹ֔ת (rings) עַל־ (on) צַלְע֖וֹ (its side) הַשֵּׁנִֽית׃ (the second). 13  וְעָשִׂ֥יתָ (And you shall make) בַדֵּ֖י (poles of) עֲצֵ֣י (wood) שִׁטִּ֑ים (acacia) וְצִפִּיתָ֥ (and overlay) אֹתָ֖ם (them) זָהָֽב׃ (with gold). 14  וְהֵֽבֵאתָ֤ (And you shall bring) אֶת־ (-) הַבַּדִּים֙ (the poles) בַּטַּבָּעֹ֔ת (into the rings) עַ֖ל (on) צַלְעֹ֣ת (the sides) הָאָרֹ֑ן (of the ark), לָשֵׂ֥את (to carry) אֶת־ (-) הָאָרֹ֖ן (the ark) בָּהֶֽם׃ (by them). 15  בְּטַבְּעֹת֙ (In the rings) הָאָרֹ֔ן (of the ark) יִהְי֖וּ (shall be) הַבַּדִּ֑ים (the poles). לֹ֥א (Not) יָסֻ֖רוּ (they shall be taken) מִמֶּֽנּוּ׃ (from it). 16  וְנָתַתָּ֖ (And you shall put) אֶל־ (into) הָאָרֹ֑ן (the ark) אֵ֚ת (-) הָעֵדֻ֔ת (the Testimony) אֲשֶׁ֥ר (that) אֶתֵּ֖ן (I shall give) אֵלֶֽיךָ׃ (to you).

The Mercy Seat
(Exodus 37:6–9)

17  וְעָשִׂ֥יתָ (And you shall make) כַפֹּ֖רֶת (a mercy seat) זָהָ֣ב (of gold) טָה֑וֹר (pure), אַמָּתַ֤יִם (two cubits) וָחֵ֙צִי֙ (and a half) אָרְכָּ֔הּ (its length) וְאַמָּ֥ה (and a cubit) וָחֵ֖צִי (and a half) רָחְבָּֽהּ׃ (its width). 18  וְעָשִׂ֛יתָ (And you shall make) שְׁנַ֥יִם (two) כְּרֻבִ֖ים (cherubim) זָהָ֑ב (of gold), מִקְשָׁה֙ (of hammered work) תַּעֲשֶׂ֣ה (you shall make) אֹתָ֔ם (them), מִשְּׁנֵ֖י (from the two) קְצ֥וֹת (ends) הַכַּפֹּֽרֶת׃ (of the mercy seat). 19  וַ֠עֲשֵׂה (And make) כְּר֨וּב (cherub) אֶחָ֤ד (one) מִקָּצָה֙ (from end) מִזֶּ֔ה (from this) וּכְרוּב־ (and cherub) אֶחָ֥ד (one) מִקָּצָ֖ה (from end) מִזֶּ֑ה (from this). מִן־ (From) הַכַּפֹּ֛רֶת (the mercy seat) תַּעֲשׂ֥וּ (you⁺ shall make) אֶת־ (-) הַכְּרֻבִ֖ים (the cherubim) עַל־ (on) שְׁנֵ֥י (two) קְצוֹתָֽיו׃ (its ends). 20  וְהָי֣וּ (And shall be) הַכְּרֻבִים֩ (the cherubim) פֹּרְשֵׂ֨י (stretching out) כְנָפַ֜יִם (wings) לְמַ֗עְלָה (upward), סֹכְכִ֤ים (covering) בְּכַנְפֵיהֶם֙ (with their wings) עַל־ (over) הַכַּפֹּ֔רֶת (the mercy seat), וּפְנֵיהֶ֖ם (and their faces) אִ֣ישׁ (each) אֶל־ (toward) אָחִ֑יו (his brother); אֶל־ (toward) הַכַּפֹּ֔רֶת (the mercy seat) יִהְי֖וּ (shall be) פְּנֵ֥י (the faces) הַכְּרֻבִֽים׃ (of the cherubim).

21  וְנָתַתָּ֧ (And you shall put) אֶת־ (-) הַכַּפֹּ֛רֶת (the mercy seat) עַל־ (on) הָאָרֹ֖ן (the ark) מִלְמָ֑עְלָה (from above), וְאֶל־ (and in) הָ֣אָרֹ֔ן (the ark) תִּתֵּן֙ (you shall put) אֶת־ (-) הָ֣עֵדֻ֔ת (the Testimony) אֲשֶׁ֥ר (that) אֶתֵּ֖ן (I shall give) אֵלֶֽיךָ׃ (to you).

22  וְנוֹעַדְתִּ֣י (And I will meet) לְךָ֮ (with you) שָׁם֒ (there) וְדִבַּרְתִּ֨י (and I will speak) אִתְּךָ֜ (with you) מֵעַ֣ל (from above) הַכַּפֹּ֗רֶת (the mercy seat), מִבֵּין֙ (from between) שְׁנֵ֣י (two) הַכְּרֻבִ֔ים (the cherubim) אֲשֶׁ֖ר (that are) עַל־ (on) אֲרֹ֣ן (the ark) הָעֵדֻ֑ת (of the Testimony), אֵ֣ת (-) כָּל־ (all) אֲשֶׁ֧ר (that) אֲצַוֶּ֛ה (I command) אוֹתְךָ֖ (you) אֶל־ (for) בְּנֵ֥י (the sons) יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃פ (of Israel).

The Table of Showbread
(Exodus 37:10–16; Leviticus 24:5–9)

23  וְעָשִׂ֥יתָ (And you shall make) שֻׁלְחָ֖ן (a table) עֲצֵ֣י (of wood) שִׁטִּ֑ים (acacia), אַמָּתַ֤יִם (two cubits) אָרְכּוֹ֙ (its length), וְאַמָּ֣ה (and a cubit) רָחְבּ֔וֹ (its width), וְאַמָּ֥ה (and a cubit) וָחֵ֖צִי (and a half) קֹמָתֽוֹ׃ (its height). 24  וְצִפִּיתָ֥ (And you shall overlay) אֹת֖וֹ (it) זָהָ֣ב (with gold) טָה֑וֹר (pure) וְעָשִׂ֥יתָ (and make) לּ֛וֹ (for it) זֵ֥ר (a molding) זָהָ֖ב (of gold) סָבִֽיב׃ (all around). 25  וְעָשִׂ֨יתָ (And you shall make) לּ֥וֹ (for it) מִסְגֶּ֛רֶת (a frame) טֹ֖פַח (of a handbreadth) סָבִ֑יב (all around), וְעָשִׂ֧יתָ (and you shall make) זֵר־ (a molding) זָהָ֛ב (gold) לְמִסְגַּרְתּ֖וֹ (for its frame) סָבִֽיב׃ (all around).

26  וְעָשִׂ֣יתָ (And you shall make) לּ֔וֹ (for it) אַרְבַּ֖ע (four) טַבְּעֹ֣ת (rings) זָהָ֑ב (of gold), וְנָתַתָּ֙ (and you shall put) אֶת־ (-) הַטַּבָּעֹ֔ת (the rings) עַ֚ל (on) אַרְבַּ֣ע (four) הַפֵּאֹ֔ת (the corners) אֲשֶׁ֖ר (that are) לְאַרְבַּ֥ע (at four) רַגְלָֽיו׃ (its feets). 27  לְעֻמַּת֙ (Close to) הַמִּסְגֶּ֔רֶת (the frame) תִּהְיֶ֖יןָ (shall be) הַטַּבָּעֹ֑ת (the rings) לְבָתִּ֣ים (as holders) לְבַדִּ֔ים (for the poles), לָשֵׂ֖את (to carry) אֶת־ (-) הַשֻּׁלְחָֽן׃ (the table). 28  וְעָשִׂ֤יתָ (And you shall make) אֶת־ (-) הַבַּדִּים֙ (the poles) עֲצֵ֣י (of wood) שִׁטִּ֔ים (acacia) וְצִפִּיתָ֥ (and overlay) אֹתָ֖ם (them) זָהָ֑ב (with gold), וְנִשָּׂא־ (and may be carried) בָ֖ם (with them) אֶת־ (-) הַשֻּׁלְחָֽן׃ (the table).

29  וְעָשִׂ֨יתָ (And you shall make) קְּעָרֹתָ֜יו (its dishes) וְכַפֹּתָ֗יו (and its pans) וּקְשׂוֹתָיו֙ (and its pitchers) וּמְנַקִּיֹּתָ֔יו (and its bowls) אֲשֶׁ֥ר (which) יֻסַּ֖ךְ (it shall be poured out); בָּהֵ֑ן (with) זָהָ֥ב (gold) טָה֖וֹר (of pure) תַּעֲשֶׂ֥ה (you shall make) אֹתָֽם׃ (them).

30  וְנָתַתָּ֧ (And you shall set) עַֽל־ (on) הַשֻּׁלְחָ֛ן (the table) לֶ֥חֶם (the Bread) פָּנִ֖ים (of the Presence) לְפָנַ֥י (before My face) תָּמִֽיד׃פ (continually).

The Lampstand
(Exodus 37:17–24; Numbers 8:1–4)

31  וְעָשִׂ֥יתָ (And you shall make) מְנֹרַ֖ת (a lampstand) זָהָ֣ב (of gold) טָה֑וֹר (pure) מִקְשָׁ֞ה (of hammered work). תֵּעָשֶׂ֤ה (It shall be made) הַמְּנוֹרָה֙ (the lampstand), יְרֵכָ֣הּ (its base) וְקָנָ֔הּ (and its branches), גְּבִיעֶ֛יהָ (its cups), כַּפְתֹּרֶ֥יהָ (its buds) וּפְרָחֶ֖יהָ (and its flowers) מִמֶּ֥נָּה (from it) יִהְיֽוּ׃ (shall be).

32  וְשִׁשָּׁ֣ה (And six) קָנִ֔ים (branches) יֹצְאִ֖ים (shall come out) מִצִּדֶּ֑יהָ (from its sides), שְׁלֹשָׁ֣ה׀ (three) קְנֵ֣י (branches) מְנֹרָ֗ה (of the lampstand) מִצִּדָּהּ֙ (out of side) הָאֶחָ֔ד (the one), וּשְׁלֹשָׁה֙ (and three) קְנֵ֣י (branches) מְנֹרָ֔ה (of the lampstand) מִצִּדָּ֖הּ (out of side) הַשֵּׁנִֽי׃ (the second). 33  שְׁלֹשָׁ֣ה (Three) גְ֠בִעִים (cups) מְֽשֻׁקָּדִ֞ים (made like almond blossoms) בַּקָּנֶ֣ה (on the branch) הָאֶחָד֮ (the one), כַּפְתֹּ֣ר (a bud) וָפֶרַח֒ (and a flower) וּשְׁלֹשָׁ֣ה (and three) גְבִעִ֗ים (cups) מְשֻׁקָּדִ֛ים (made like almond blossoms) בַּקָּנֶ֥ה (on the branch), הָאֶחָ֖ד (the one) כַּפְתֹּ֣ר (a bud) וָפָ֑רַח (and a flower)— כֵּ֚ן (thus) לְשֵׁ֣שֶׁת (for six) הַקָּנִ֔ים (the branches) הַיֹּצְאִ֖ים (coming out) מִן־ (from) הַמְּנֹרָֽה׃ (the lampstand).

34  וּבַמְּנֹרָ֖ה (And on the lampstand itself) אַרְבָּעָ֣ה (four) גְבִעִ֑ים (cups) מְשֻׁקָּדִ֔ים (are made like almond blossoms), כַּפְתֹּרֶ֖יהָ (its buds) וּפְרָחֶֽיהָ׃ (and its flowers). 35  וְכַפְתֹּ֡ר (And a bud) תַּחַת֩ (under) שְׁנֵ֨י (two) הַקָּנִ֜ים (the branches) מִמֶּ֗נָּה (from it), וְכַפְתֹּר֙ (and a bud) תַּ֣חַת (under) שְׁנֵ֤י (two) הַקָּנִים֙ (the branches) מִמֶּ֔נָּה (from it), וְכַפְתֹּ֕ר (and a bud) תַּחַת־ (under) שְׁנֵ֥י (two) הַקָּנִ֖ים (the branches) מִמֶּ֑נָּה (from it), לְשֵׁ֙שֶׁת֙ (for six) הַקָּנִ֔ים (the branches) הַיֹּצְאִ֖ים (going out) מִן־ (from) הַמְּנֹרָֽה׃ (the lampstand). 36  כַּפְתֹּרֵיהֶ֥ם (Their buds) וּקְנֹתָ֖ם (and their branches of) מִמֶּ֣נָּה (from it) יִהְי֑וּ (are) כֻּלָּ֛הּ (all of it) מִקְשָׁ֥ה (hammered work) אַחַ֖ת (one) זָהָ֥ב (of gold) טָהֽוֹר׃ (pure).

37  וְעָשִׂ֥יתָ (And you shall make) אֶת־ (-) נֵרֹתֶ֖יהָ (its lamps) שִׁבְעָ֑ה (seven), וְהֶֽעֱלָה֙ (and he shall cause to go up) אֶת־ (-) נֵ֣רֹתֶ֔יהָ (its lamps) וְהֵאִ֖יר (and they shall give light) עַל־ (on) עֵ֥בֶר (the side) פָּנֶֽיהָ׃ (of its face). 38  וּמַלְקָחֶ֥יהָ (And its wick trimmers) וּמַחְתֹּתֶ֖יהָ (and their firepans are) זָהָ֥ב (of gold) טָהֽוֹר׃ (pure). 39  כִּכָּ֛ר (Of a talent) זָהָ֥ב (of gold) טָה֖וֹר (pure) יַעֲשֶׂ֣ה (shall be made) אֹתָ֑הּ (it), אֵ֥ת (with) כָּל־ (all) הַכֵּלִ֖ים (the vessels) הָאֵֽלֶּה׃ (these).

40  וּרְאֵ֖ה (And see) וַעֲשֵׂ֑ה (and make) בְּתַ֨בְנִיתָ֔ם (according to their pattern) אֲשֶׁר־ (that) אַתָּ֥ה (you) מָרְאֶ֖ה (are being shown) בָּהָֽר׃ס (on the mountain).
